If you are talking about MRT Rally, they are good with turbos especially WRX's, they are getting into the EDIT and tunning for the XR6, I have called them and discussed a few options, they sound good for about $3k they will upgrade injectors, fuel pump and do a custom tune.

sorry luke for hijacking the thread

Hi Luke, Nice power result, just a quick question with upgraded injectors and Valve springs I thought people where getting about 260RWKW plus and on standard injectors people where getting about 240RWKW, I’m just asking as I have booked my car in for EDIT at the end of the month with a Sydney tuner and have been told to expect around 240RWKW with stock injectors and with upgraded injectors and pump about 260-270 RWKW, he said this is when I will need to change valve springs. just checking to see what I should expect. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've just posted a dyno chart of a mates car done in Melbourne. It's a stock manual with no other mods. NONE. 197RWKW before edit. 279RWKW after. Just an alternative point of view...... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I want to go were you went !

This may be a bit off topic, but did ethier of you (pete or luke) upgrade the fuel pump to Walbro unit ?
-
What does it feel like when going from standard to this type of EDIT tune ? Is it a completely different car to drive in terms of power delivery ?? I'm not sure what my money is getting me as I have not been in a modded T before or any other T except for my own.

the injectors on this site the 42lb Green Tops Lightning Super will they be a drop in replacement for the factory ones ? @ 6/Set: $322.55 compared to $223.94 for the Delphi, for a $100 USD I would go the Bosch <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mate, wouldn't have a clue. I emailed them a while ago, no response from them, I don't think they know. $322US a bit of a gamble.. esp when direct from CAPA they r only $600 odd, guaranteed. Also I don't know if they flow as much as 968, no-one can tell me if 968's are a 42Lb injector, and CAPA won't tell me what cc the 42Lb injectors are... merry-go-round. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tha 968 are not a 42lb an hour, they are 39lb or 429cc pm, it depends on wheter you are using test fluid or fuel, the official Bosch number for the 968 is 293 grams per min. the green tops are a drop in, but are putting out 7.6% more fuel, I dont know how the tuners would go with all the extra fuel down low? thay will fit and drop straight in, but will the drivability be affected? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Eugene are you still supplying the EV6 injectors ? would be interested in a set.

Ok u downloaders, yooz all appear to have "connections" to the episodes and I insist that you spill the beans on the website. Pwetty please <{POST_SNAPBACK}> have you heard of bit totrent ? http://www.mininova.org/

xrturb Have you received your injectors yet ? If so have you got C&V to fit and tune? Quick question to all when does the factory fuel pump need to be upgraded?
-
To see any real power gains you need to change ~ Front engine pipe with high flow stainless cat and retain (standard centre + rear muffler), I would only replace the centre muffler is you wanted to get a different exhaust note.

I will wait to this system is out and see the result no need to invest in a Exhaust system twice if one day I decide to go beyond the 280RWKW mark. keep us posted on the development dean. Freddy

goobs I think you will find that the system is better than that and will suit over 90% of xr6t's as I am confident of it suporting over the 400rwkw!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dynowog, When testing the exhaust system, the most I got out of this system was 270 rwkw -however depending on tune/dyno etc u may be about to hit 300 MAX. After this we did a full customer 3.5" system to obtain my current 300 + rwkw (im running aps gear in the car also). As for the claim of exhausts being sold for 850 .... the supplier of the exhaust knows of all systems that have been sold to date, and nobody is selling them that cheap, unless it is an imitation system or unless they are loosing money on the systems. Themeshman260 - The exhausts are good quality and they work. Like I mentioned previously, I should know, they were tested on my car. The cat and muffles used in the system are Xforce (their own cats/mufflers) and the they produce a good note. Are you in sydney mate?? If so PM me, im going to my mates exhaust shop on sat, your more then welcome to meet up with me, ill show you my current quad system and you can see the Xforce systems in flesh (and meet the owner). Regz, Dean <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi Dean Is the owner at best muffler developing a new system for the XR6 ? with a 4 inch dump and CAT ?
-
So you already got the injectors, will they just be drop in replacements ? I will call C&V so it will be around $2k for Edit, tune and Injectors. will be interested in the result you get.
-
Funny that how when I reported how unhappy I was with them you were the first to jump all over me about how good they are But I do know of a few T's that have gone to C&V for a Edit and are very happy CYA JEFF <{POST_SNAPBACK}> will C&V fit these injectors ? what do they charge for a tune ?
-
Very good buy, I went to the US website and it works out to be $298 aussie dollars plus shipping, I will get a set and go to intune for a edit and tune

I added a shiftkit to my auto. Go to http://www.shiftkits.com.au and have a bit of a read, basically its a little electronic box that changes the signals to the computer that controls the auto which makes the box more responsive in shifts. My car is stock except for a second CAI and it manages to chirp between 1st and 2nd in the dry and in the wet you can get the back end out. For $85 plus around $50 to install it’s a great little mod, and you can also switch it off. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've got a shift kit also and I'll say this. Chirpies are a myth(are you talking about upshift?) unless you got bald tyres or 400kw. As for the shift time, it's a harder more sudden shift, but there is still the delay between planting your foot and the actual kickdown. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Under hard acceleration from a standing start or a slow rolling start I manage to get a chirp when changing from 1st to 2nd, it does not happen all the time it depends on the road surface, I should have made that point clear, its more of a thump when changing between gears so I switch it off when I’m in traffic and switch it on when I’m having a play around. I think the delayed reaction in the auto is also made more obvious with the turbo lag, so there is always going to be that 1-2sec delay between foot to the floor and take off

I started this about information about the XForce exhaust system, Is is F#@ken good or not? All of a sudden the price has dropped from $1250.00 to $850.00. Is it made in Australia or Twain? and if it's so bloody good what brand mufflers and cats are they using? Can someone tell me, PLEASE. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> its $1100 installed, they are made in twain but developed here. Xforce make there own cats and mufflers go to http://www.xforce.com.au

Hi Jon I got a Turbosmart , they make one for the XR6, its the 'Kompact' range, it took about 20 min to install and makes a great sound, it cost $290 and worth every cent

Hi Boomer with these injectors what duty cycle are they at when producing the 249RWKW ? the standard one would be at 100%, just want to see how much potential they have left in them. It sounds like a very good buy.

I had a similar conversation today and I was told that they had yet to getting around to maufacturing the section required to link the 4" cat to the stock pipe however planned to do so within the next 4 - 6 weeks. I think that if enough of us show interest they would possibly produce whats required and perhaps even provide a package price for the Dump / CAT / flanged joiner. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Lets keep on them, I have another Exhaust guy who I emailed and he is making a similar system which will be ready in june I told him I wanted this type of setup. I will put a reminder in my outlook to email them in 4 weeks time
-
I like the SMB setup was thinking of getting it myself, what I wanted was the dump pipe with 4 inch cat, then a 4 inch pipe split into dual 2.5 inch just before the Centre muffler, this way you retain the factory setup, and remove the most restrictive part, If you read on the system it goes to a single 3.5, then 3 inch system. If you look at the post "cracking 400 Rwkw With Edit" his exhaust is stated as "SMB 4 inch dump + SMB 4 inch Cat + 2x 2.5 inch pipe then back to factory centre muffler and factory rear muffler. " which is pushing a sh*t load of power. We should try and organize a group buy or kit from them to bring down the price

What sort of trans cooler did you get?... I know there's another thread on this but seeing as though this one's about auto's as well.... I've looked at the B&M ones and also the Davies Craig ones, just want to get an idea what people are using.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fitted the BOV, sounds good My Auto guy told me that ford sells a cooler kit but he is fitting me a larger one, it costs $120 (cooler). When I drop it off Thursday I will ask for the make/model and take pics. He is charging me $200 to install and fit the cooler and Module which is good considering I have no skills in installing any of these items.
