  1. Its cheaper to get it sent on a truck, last car I sent from QLD to VIC was $400 odd, then you just degister it, the truck picks it up and delivers it to the buyer at the other end. Sold unregistered, no responcibility on your part.
  2. Im guessing you have a brother in law, Sam- because I heard this story from him about a month ago. (I used to work with him) Im glad I heard it actually, because although I can offer no advice I sure know not to take my car to Romano's. Good luck!! Glenn
  3. Check the fs forum in a few minutes, I am going to put my BF1 up for sale shortly
  4. Hey Guys, Just wondering, will a 17" rim (Xr for example) fit over the F6 Brembo's (the ones which come standard on the BF1, not the optional f*cker). Thanks!
  5. V-Power is supposedly a new blend, yet at the petrol stations they use the same tanks etc Optimax Extreme is still available, as for people being dumb enough...well I (and many other QLD'ers) use it as our BP/etc is pretty sh*t.
  6. 5lt-sup I think you will be charged if you are not the original owner of the vehicle.
  7. I sell the navs so if anyone is interested, wether it be just more info or buying one by all means let me know by PM and ill look after you. The Navman units are by far the easiest to use out of the "portable" units on the market. They have 3 models at the moment, the ICN635 (new version of the ICN630 mentioned above), which has 3D mapping, a very clear and loud speaker, and is quite robust, price is around $1200-ish from memory (can check if you like). They have a PDA styled unit which IMO is crap. They also have an ICN520, which uses the same mapping system as the ICN635 (3D), but its also touch screen, which makes it even easier to navigate through the menu. This is a cheaper unit, and build quality is not as good as the ICN635 however if price comes into play then its great value at around $650 street price.
  8. Thanks again guys! Being an auto I dont have the chimes before limiter. Looking forward to seeing the wog up my neck of the woods, though I am in Melbourne at the moment so might call by and see him tomorrow if I get a chance (doubtful).
  9. Thanks Jack!
  10. Sorry if im asking things that have been covered before, I did try a search to no avail. Is there something in the flash that can change the rev limiter from a harsh limiter to a soft limiter but still do its job (limit the revs)? A bit of a shock coming from my Clubsport R8 that when you hit limiter just sat there, to the F6 which dies in the arse, and with it reving so dam quick (compared to the LS1 anyway haha), ive been caught out a few times!
  11. Hey Guys, Just wondering, when it comes to getting a CAPA Edit box, do I have to specify its for a BF Typhoon as opposed to just an XR6T? Is there a difference in the tunes? Thanks, Sleek
