  1. Ugly? They look (and are)better than 95% of the cheap, Korean sh*t posted in this thread. Not having a go at you, but the majority of rims posted in this thread are cheap and nasty...
  2. Definitely go the aftermarket rims. Stay away from the cheap crap you'll find at Bob Jane or other generic tyre shops. Also stay away from Tempe Tyres, heard lots of bad stories about those guys plus their rims are cheap crap! Don't skimp on width either, the XR is a big car so you'll easily be able to fit 10" wide rims on the back, not sure if you'll need to flare the gaurds or not... And one of the most important things to consider is OFFSET!! So many people don't have a clue about offset and buy cheapo rims with poor offset which then gives the povo Aussie spec sunken rim look. You want the rim to be inline with the gaurds or even sticking out a little (even though this is illegal, it looks TOUGH!) Here's some nice rims to consider: Volk GT-C Face 1 or 2 Volk CE28N Gram Lights 57F-Pro Work Meisters:
  3. Nice pic... That snake has recently eaten quite a big meal. Probably ate a few decent sized rabbits or maybe even a fox....
  4. I was about 3 - 4 cars behind that EF, Looked very sexy... Rob... I was <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Did he have the bonnet open? Did you see if it was the original engine from the EF-EL?? Anyone know what power this car puts out? From the way it was spinning it's wheels when it came out, I would say it would have 300+rwkw!!
  5. I didn't get to see any of the cars while they were on show as I had to work until 2pm, but I and a few friends were watching all the cars as they leaving. It was awesome!! Quite a few cars ripping some burnouts and a fair bit of sideways action (some which was quite amusing). I'm surprised the police didn't turn up at all. My highlight of the day was seeing the turbo EF or EL XR6 with the pearl paint sideways when coming out of the T junction. This thing was an animal!! Easily lighting up the wheels in second and into the start of third! It sounded awesome, it sounded totally unlike any BA XR6t I've ever heard and has got me wondering what the hell is in the engine bay!! Has it still got the Ford straight 6 or something more exotic? The engine noise and flutter from the turbo was simply amazing!! If anyone could post up any info or links on this car it would be very much appreciated.
