Hi Guys just a quick one. Can the brake dust deflectors on the outside of the disc brakes be removed, because they dont really do anything for me in terms of looks. makes the brakes look small.

yeh pilot sport ps2's are the best in the buisness. Nothing beats them Ive been told by someone in the know that Eagle FL GSD3 are great value as well. Also look at a brand called Fulda Carat Exelero's. www.fulda.com They are dunlops affiliates in Germany. They are apparently german made tyres and absoulutely sensational. Im thinking of getting a set in 245/40r18 when the time comes. They use the same tyre on the high end Maybach Exelero concept car. that's liek a 5.8 Litre V12 Twin Turbo. http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews/coupe...aybach_exelero/ Well priced here in aus because they are introducing it. Been roughly quoted 650 on ps2's, 450 on gsd3's, and 350 on exeleros

And whats the biggest tyres people have got on the rear and the front of the standard ford 18 rims. I need more traction on the UTE!

Hey Guys I just had a few questions about the CAPA Edit which I couldnt find whilst searching. Im close to doing it but just need a bit more info. I think this may be useful to other members too. (of course not the ones who have taken the brave step to KW freedom ) 1) Just with the Edit on a stock T, What Torque figures are we getting? And what is a reasonable power expected. (Ive heard 245rwkw but this seems too high for a stock) 2) Do You Recommend Valve Springs? 3) Do You Recommend Injectors? 4) Should exhaust changes be done before the edit? (Like Hot Dogs and so forth and has anyone with exhaust mods found it too loud with the added boost) 5) Where can you recommend to do the edit in Vic and what have you paid for it? 6) What 0-100 and QTRMILE times are expected (and be realistic guys) 7) For a 6, 8, and 10 psi map, what boost figures are we talking lower in the range and what does the boost tail off to around 5000+ revs. Or am I mistaken, and an edit has 6, 8 or 10psi all the way through the rev range. Any one safely increased the redline. Is it usable revs? or just a waste of time. What RPM if so? Hehehe this is like a test. Anyways, any personal experiences are very muchly appreciated. Bain Is this only applicable on a Sedan. Are the exhausts different in a ute, and I if I get this done will I get more of a throaty sound out of my ute. Im wanting this because my ute is SSS auto and it is so quiet even when im thrashing it a bit. I want more of a throaty sound when I give it a bit. Regards Aaron

Hey mate thanks. Sunroof wasnt factory but they organised it all for me. Its the Stratos 300 from Hollandia. Prestige Sunroofs in Burwood did it for me. It was like 1200ish I think. All part of the package I got on the car. It was the best thing I ever put on.

I have an installer looking into it now. He believes that he will be able to design a locking mechanism that will act with the normal central locking for the BA ute hardtop. He also believes that he can design a manual overide. Let me know if you are interested and ill get a price of him as I know hes keen to do a few if he spends the time researching it. This is in Victoria Also post if you have any ideas of how much you would pay for such a beast.

I hear that the APS edit wont leave a signature on the original ecu software like many others do. Has anyone heard any other information on the APS edit. Thanks in Advance

Do I get Splits with 1 or 2 8inch subs OR Splits with 6x9 in the rear. The deals I have got are Focal Splits and 6x9 with Alpine 4ch Amp Or Focal Splits with 2x8inch Blaupunkt Subs with a Blaupunkt Amp Both around the same money If anyone with a ute has done a setup please let me know Thanks in advance

Here it is: XR6T Ute in Lightning Strike SSS Auto Custom Leather Sunroof Sports Steering Wheel 18's Ford Rims Cabin Tidy Hard Tonneau Cover iDesign Spoiler Tint XR Mats XR Scuff Plates Aux Port Im looking to get a couple more options. FPV Style Twin pod gauges. Thinking of Focal Splits in the front and Focal 6" in the rear. Run an alpine amp and get some decent sound out of the system. Anyone had any experience modding sound in a Ute? any advice is appreciated. Hoping I can get away with just the splits in the front with a 2 channel amp. Anyways I LOOOOVE THE T By The Way, If you see a Rapid XR6T Sedan and a Lightning XR6T Ute following each other in VIC regions ..... its me and "clogz" from this forum. Give us a wave!!!
