  1. ..... as Bunna certainly does..... Us Blackberry users have never had an issue... a truly amazing device.....that just works every time. That's what you guys get for using a pretend phone.
  2. Rob - that's one of your lawn bowls loose in the rear. Stick it back in it's case. Tyres - Falken FK452's for price / wet performance / braking. Are a standout. Had a set on my BF2T, mand can't wait to get them on this after the Dunflops. Johnny G.
  3. Quick comment - for 300 the direct route with safety; alloy hot and cold side pipe kit, XForce or similar 4" dump / cat / and 3.5" exhaust, injectors, tune with max @15 taper to 13 psi. The standard airbox / cooler will easy handle 300 (plenty have already proved that). Worry about the clutch afterwards. Chat to Mark at Power Torque Engines at Ormeau as well.... he's already done a number of these.
  4. Spuddo - confirmed... take the bumper off. If you need any help on that one... pm me. JG
  5. Excellent news for you new chaps - welcome aboard....!!! And a wonderful car owning experience it is too! There are so many just busting to join our ranks (see above references)...
  6. See Tab - there's hope for a Supercharged Walking Frame yet....!!! Go Vrrm, and welcome to this ever so simple / humble abode indeed. I see Tab posted a link to Spuddo & my stories on the diffs, feel free to PM me if you need more... Johnny G
  7. Pssst. I like mine. It's great. And it doesn't whine - in fact it's the quietest slippery I've ever had. The beauty of a custom build from experts. Next time I'll probably buy the standard bongo and put an aftermarket in again - properly built and matched to specs - unless the factory can prove they have a unit "better than current offering" of course. Producing a car like this with just under or just over eleventy thousand killerwasps deserves a drive train to match.
  8. You'll probably find that it will settle in over a week or two.... any roughness may well settle with use.
  9. Any news Sly? All sorted? and Hows the computer settling in..... ??
  10. LOL - what... BOV's or EXPERTS?
  11. Tabular - I'm two bob each way thanks. Will see what the week on the kerosene taxi brings me.... I'm rather fond of tunnels at full noise for a couple of feet between cameras.
  12. OK - let me know what you find out.... might be worth a call to a BOV expert. Otherwise - bet you're enjoying it...!
  13. Sly - check your BOV mounting.... it appears to be back the front. The ribbed right angle section should mount to the end closest to the throttle body, not pointing at the intake piping after the air box. Not sure if these work in a bi-directional fashion.....??? Would be happy to know if it's ok mounted like that??? (Maybe I've stuffed up - can someone else check?) Pic attached...
  14. Looking forward to the reports post - good luck!
  15. Sly - this car with anything north of 300rw is an absolute hoot.... trust me, you'll LOVE IT. A mere squeeze on the loud peddle to overtake, and the fun of a quick squirt off from the lights that causes all sorts of reactions that I've never seen before..... strange, mouth open, pale, blank sort of looks. Ah, the life of a sleeper. (And yes - mix all this with an LSD and it's ALL GOOD.) (Tabular - you gotta come for a drive soon.....)
  16. Might have to put a sign up on Kelvin Grove Road to point other owners to this thread...
  17. OMG - you're kidding! Customers car for sure.... in this rain and in inexeprienced hands, that was a disaster waiting to happen on that road. Suppose there may have been a failure of some sort, but you wouldn't think so. Anyway - that was the biggest mess I've seen in a while - semi's don't muck around.
  18. Cool mate - try again soon; let me know. PS - this thing in the wet with the traction off and the slippery diff is like a day at the Show. Unlike those two poor b@ast@rds in that Porche over south side this morning.... gee zus....
  19. Have heard of people having success in the past.... so have a crack at them!!!
  20. Interesting... there's not much left in it - this would be the ceiling for this cooler without a doubt. Have also noticed that the heat effect comes into play early now with the extra psi - so eventually there will be a shiny replacement. Mind you - not bad though!
  21. Had a set on my BF - and LOVED them. Wet weather was their forte, but great at everything else as well. Wearing out my current Dunslops as fast as possible...
  22. Re-tune this week... @304 after some timing in and fuel out and some boost to liven up the proceedings. What a ripper drive now, it's superb. Good on you Krustie. Not bad on the standard old intercooler.... Tab - you coming out for a turn? We could do a lap of the retirement village and rattle a few windows.
  23. A good quality dump and cat with a standard exhaust on a BF will run 290 - 300. Beyond that - volume and flow are king, and you'll need to do the rest with something greater than the twin 2 and a quarter restriction. Refer to the pinned information in the exhaust section.
  24. What a marvellous idea. Off to the club together for a shandy! At this rate, Scotty will be chasing a trade in.
  25. Yeah Andy.... where did the venetian blind come from? IS that a standard but from Ford, or did you find it at the Op Shop and just remove the drawstring?
