  1. MTM - Have one on my ET (mild steel version).... all good. Noise right, performance fine if you're going to tweak it up to 340rw. Will require a custom tune on installation - so be prepared. Photo's in my garage pics....
  2. Have been to India a couple of times.... and it truly is a country that embraces the word "dichotomy" sooooo well. Fly to Mumbai, get off the plane and go out into the slums. The smell overpowers you, the sights add insult to that already raw wound, and your whole being is insulted from the sensual conflict. Then you jump a car to Agra, and on the way out of town see the upmarket homes and cars, and then four hours later the Taj Mahal.... oppulence and beauty personified. And ten minutes after leaving see a man squatting in the middle of a bare field taking a cr@p. Challenge yourself - go there some time.... I loved it so much I went back.
  3. Under bonnet mat, under boot lid mat? Do they all have those?
  4. Good news mate - hope it all goes well! Keep us POSTED!!!
  5. Cracker of a job Chris - nice work!!
  6. Good stuff Harry - welcome to our worlds..... every day's driving leaves me smiling. Enjoy!!!
  7. Good lordie me - Lumpen Speechmiester. Go Lumpy..... The King Of Ulmarra.
  8. Harryh - Right tuner, right mods should make no difference to reliability - aim at a set up in the 300 rwkw area & the drive line componentry should be fine. In fact, if you look at the fact that the engine is custom tuned specifically for your car and requirements, it may well last longer. Basic things as boost control and fuel will be covered in this sort of set up - and that means everything.
  9. Chev badges on Holdens???? If you haven't watched this - you need to. The best of the Hitler parodies so far.
  10. .... and don't go any more than the 11 pounds - or you'll have the plastic pipes doing the banana split. Aaaah, won't be long and the real tune will be on the way - another one in the vortex. Good to see!!!
  11. Interesting that the weight drop factor that was bandied around earlier (80KGs lighter blah blah blah etc etc) now turns out to be 30kgs. Wonder if that turn in will be any better than the lead sled......?
  12. Can't wait to get FK452s back on mine... absolutely loved them on the BF2.
  13. Yes if we do.
  14. Great updates Rob..... well done and thanks for keeping us all up to speed. The diff bush replacement info answers some nagging thoughts that have been sitting in my mind over the past month or so - like why mine has slowly developed the step out tendancy more over time. Makes a lot of sense... If you get a chance - can you post a side on pic so we can see how the car looks on the pedders coiled height adjusters? JG
  15. Mitch - if he wants simple services done reliably, McLean Motors at Queens Road, Everton Hills is ok (ex racer Cameron McLean), and the guys at Everton Mechanical Repairs on Timms Road, Everton Hills are absolute Ford nuts - their model car collection has to be seen to be believed. We still take the family cars there and have been treated very well and never had an issue. Then you get up into the well known tuning and servicing specialists.... Power Torque is at Brendale (as Tab said), and RDP are a bit further on on the peninsula. Depends on what he's after....... good luck.
  16. Interesting çomment about pay for the PM Buff.... The Lee family set up the Singaporean system so as the PM gets paid WELL - thinks it's about @$18Mill per year ATM - so (at their very attractive taxation rate) it a/ prevents corruption from occurring and b/ becomes hugely attractive for the real business brains of the country, not only the party fanatics adn wannabees. Your run of the mill politician also cracks a handsome Mill plus salary as well. And do they work hard to keep their jobs? You dam well bet your ass they do. Anyone that's been to Singers will know - that place runs like a Swiss watch. CAST YOUR VOTE FOLKS!!!! WE NEED A SAMPLE OF 200 BEFORE IT GETS REAL!!!
  17. Good move, Sir. The Haart guys are great. They practised on mine, so yours whould have been a doddle for them. Nice work - and you'll love the effect on that great car of yours....
  18. Welcome to the club, Gramps.... and I'll bet that drive south disappeared in one big smile. Enjoy...
  19. osonvs - forget it..... waste of time and money (full stop).
  20. Couldn't agree with Tab more, my trip to G6ET territory has lead to the "trouble free zone".... touch wood. (Although I do know of one G6ET driver that has had a couple of conversations with Constable Plod....)
  21. Have the X Force mild steel 3.5" system with 4inch dump and metal cat on mine - sound / noise level is fine after the first couple of weeks and it coats up.... a little noisy initially. Beautiful burble on overrun. Check out photo's in my garage.
  22. ...So Smiddy - if it's out, what are you putting in it's place?
  23. LMAO.... how the ferk did he even see him doing that speed.... poor b@st@rd!!!
