  1. So instead of shovelling mud in the Lord Mayors army yesterday, I had a day off and installed some bling on the BowlsMobile. Nice result;
  2. Love some pics....
  3. Clarky - DOH. L and D - hope you made it to a tuner before it went bang.... let us know!
  4. Yep - I'd be doing an ambulance chaser Slater and Gordon approach..... sit back and think of England, or Holly even. If you're worried about the aesthetics of the scar, PM me and I'll shoot you over some special weaponry for scar treatment at the right price....
  5. I hope they have pills for that...... Goodness. *Dreads a trip to the Ford Workshop*
  6. Woo stop. You guys have jinxed me dammit. Driving along yesterday, CC set to 21.5, and the right hand centre dash vent starts blowing warm air. WTF? Turned ac off and on - no help. Turned it off and put the window down. No help either - it was raining. Got to work - left it for the day, and driving home it was fine. Excellent. The start of an "intermittent problem"....love it.Maybe I have New Year Flappitis?
  7. Oh Christmas - the season of happiness and good will! RYN89. Attached is the alternative to Days of Our Lives: Alternative.pdf
  8. LMAO...... FFS - how to take the rope, put it around yourn own neck, and get a hole heap of people to help you tighten it up. What a goose. UNFKNBLVBL.
  9. Robin Judd of the William Buck Top Doorslammer Racing Team, and Graeme Cowin of Rocket Industries are about to announce a new sponsorship deal within the ANDRA Top Doorslammer class. Sneak preview pics are attached for you to drool over. Expect to see promotional material after Christmas leading up to the next T/D round at Willowbank on Jan 14/15. Merry Christmas everyone. Oh - and go stuff yourself full of food and beer and everything else. JG
  10. Great result you guys - well done!!
  11. Struth. I've obviously either a/ had rubbish in my previous experiences or b/ am just plain lucky. My CC AC works. Just fine. 21deg is enough to send you for a fur coat. It's probably the best Ford I've owned for knock down time, and I've learned to operate it it to demist, and work split level, heat my feet in winter, and do all sorts of clever things that are mentioned in the operating manual. It's worth a read sometime.... Hmmmmm.... Must have been a Tuesday build.
  12. Good news guys.... it's nearly YE HAR time A....
  13. Another one - Redcliffe last week. Mate of mine stopped and had a chat to Constable Plod... who was apparently "quite friendly". One of his comments was that these were definitely bidirectional photo takers.... coming or going - you're on the radar.
  14. Another revenue rip off car; a grey Golf - Oxley Avenue, Redcliffe on Wednesday... UNFKNBLVBL

Great stuff Stickz and all involved... well done! Great result all round.
  16. Interesting look!
  17. Nice stuff PC.... that looks great! V happy with mine after a week of driving - much better control at speed; the airey faireys gone, and no driveway or carpark arguments. Simple but solid fix!
  18. Tony - throw some pics of that up will you?? Tx... j
  19. Yep....you're right Pete. My problem is loads in the boot occassionally plus driveway - wasn't willing to risk the rear SSSL's for that reason. Imagine another 15mm out of the rears would sit sweet if you don't have that to contend with. Very happy with this result for my circumstances..... excellent.
  20. Suspension change - KFFL-40SSL fronts KFRL-68SSL rears Shocks remains standard as does everything else. Nice compromise, still has enough clearance to get away with carparks, and enough comfort not to rattle your bones. What it should have been to start with... and it doesn't pick up it's inside leg on corner entry! Thanks to Pat at Wholesale Suspension for the advice and service. Before and after pics attached:
  21. Pete, as luck would have it, have just fitted mine (1hr 5mins you slack b@st@rds)(mind you, a hoist and an extra set of hands helps......LOL). KFFL-40SSL Front KFRL-68SSL Rear Pictures attached. Couldn't go any lower due to driveway issues - not to mention the XForce 3.5"exhaust and speed hump ridden Brisbane. Many thanks to Pat at Wholesale Suspension for the advice and service. Hope this helps. JG
  22. Dam - I'm out. Our work do is on then....
