  1. Id shop around a bit more mate. Find a 6 speed for slightly more and save money in the long run. I sold my ba 2004 6 speed with mods good for 280kw lowered 20s Gt bodykit lowered and 13500ks for $13000

  4. Hi guys. Anyone know a cheap place to get super pro diff bushes and adjustable upper control arms as I was goin to get them from pat but iv messaged him on here facebook and email wit no reply in over a week and need them before my warranty runs out
  5. How wide are your rears wpnxrt. Sssl will tuck tyre so keep in mind gaurd rolling and ssssl will need pumping if 10" and +38 0r +40 offset. If you want to work out ground clearance just look at hub to guard measurements of the spring combos your considering from previous posts then how much lower that is than what u have now then simply transfer that measurement from the bottom of your car towards the ground. The remainder should give you a fair guess as to your ground clearance

  7. You can get an even dish all around but it just wont be as wide as what u would normally have on the rear. Check out the offset and tyre question thread and read through it for a god idea of what widths and offsets will fit in your guards and how low you can be with those offsets and widths
  8. Some pics of my wheels fited up. Needs serious low. And excuse the terrible photoshop lowering job on the last one. A bit of poke on the rears but will get the gaurds rolled before I put springs in. Should look good I think. A bit 4wd atm
  9. Anyone running sssl all round with a pic. I like sssl rear but ssl fronts some are nice some are too high for me. Also anyone rsn pedders springs. What are they like?
  10. Ok guys hopefully some pictures will ignite answers. They arrived today and tyres go on tomorrow. Questions are 20" . 8.5" fronts +35 0FFSET. Should I run a 10mm spacer and will I need longer threads to do so? Rears are 10" wide +38 0ffset will have 275/35. How much low can I get overall and will the guards need rolling, neg camber etc

  12. Ok guys finally parted with the coin for some wheels. There staggered 20 inch 8.5" fronts are 10" rears but all this offset stuff is confusing and just wen I think iv got it someone says something like lip/ dish has different offsets to flat face. So my fronts are +35 and rears are +38. (Concave ).Questions are what tyres should I run on these for sedan that will be getting lowered but not sure how far till there on and can check clearance. Also should I space out the front for a bit more flush as I think if I understand that 35 is in a fair way. Anyone with a pic of these offsets and what tyres suspension and spacers if any?

  16. 5/114.3??? Is this offset or stud pattern. Could I space them to a respectable offset? They only have 225 on them so does tgat mean they would be 8"
  17. Quick question. Found some cheap vertini fashions that were once on an fg but there only 8 or 8 5'' wide all round. Are these going to look like poo on an fg as most u guys run 10" rears from wat I can tell

  20. Its a bit hit and miss mate. Some guys get away with no tune for certian mods and others dont. Basic mods like air intake is not necessary but things like injectors or wasregates or hot / cold side piping then yes ull need to tune. Most people generally wait and do a heap of mods at once to avoid lots of dyno costs so a basic start would be injectors fuel pump wastegate actuator intercooler and intercooler piping/plenum. Tuned at tge same time
  21. I need to get my diff bushes done also. Whats the price difference between standard and comfort series ones? Also I want to put adjustable upper control arms in. Would it be smart to have this done at the same time and just pay for the labour on top of the warranty or are they not realy a related task
  22. It just allows more air to flow. But more air is only better if its cool air. Also there is a restrictor on the fg in the pipe above the air cleaner. Rip that out! No tune necessary mate.
  23. Yeah did a google search and I think they are icon voxxs. Look very close to the vossens though. Just half the price. Big break break compatible too btw if anyone wondering
