  1. The reason it looks "decent" (to use your word Steve) is because you do what's necessary to keep it in tip top shape............SO JEALOUS. Wish I had the motovation when it comes to my car like you do --- your old man would be very proud I reckon Oh and I really hope that that isn't your Mrs's hairy leg up on the dash. lol
  2. Nah dood......you probably - unwittingly - mentioned how much you earn so when she said she was gunna screw you, you took it the wrong way. What has to be done? Root canal?
  3. Nice double post^^ hehe Yeah you're right Ralph bit that won't stop him.....I remember having to drop a match into the pit in the morning and after lunch at the first place I worked at. Good times
  4. He's a queenslander sooooooooo Rum
  5. I like this guy already.........did his P's in a 4 banger and learnt to drive. Onya matey The old fart in me MUST agree with the captains suggestion above - driving course - whatever state you live in, I'm sure there will be a company that will help you better prepare for a turbo 6 coz even a stock BF will propably surprise the crap out of you when it starts to get away from you the first few times. A mk2 has the ability to see around 400(ish) on E85 but like everything with these cars, it all comes down to the bank account. Have a look at the 300+ section of the forum and start reading / learning about the BF and you will soon see the best way to go to get the power level to where you want it. Good luck with it all Oh and a quick heads up No need to quote a post directly above your reply.................some of the mods hate it
  6. Yeah I'm with Marco. After driving Stigmatas weapon with the bonnet bulge and then getting back into mine, I like the extra view......not saying I wouldn't get used to it after a while though
  7. Best thing I found for that was more scotch
  8. or ORrrr That's a good thing. Maybe the other day was just a freak.. Keep an eye on it for a while still.
  9. Ya haven't had the best of luck with the car over the last few weeks, have you
  10. I've seen your old mans shed Biz....I think he has one of - everything ever made - in there.
  11. I really don't understand why anyone would do this to themselves.
  12. Yeah listen I totally understand that you don't want to name the current tuna....hear that all the time. I guess it's for the - just in case it HAS to go back there - situation but surely you are not the type of person that would let someone go through what you went through with the first tuner IF you had the ability to help someone from making a mistake that could be costly.....both money wise and emotionally. Oh and btw.....a standard G6ET will run around 240 at the wheels without mods
  13. I'm a little bit lost.....in post 1 you said that the tuna recommended the injectors and later on you say he reckons 1000's will fix it. Gunna ask the question again -- Who tuned it?
  14. electric motor controled Windscreen Wipers. I remember having to rev the FJ to get the wipers to work.....lol
  15. Quick search gave this Rab http://books.google.com.au/books?id=6YMQQjiWboMC&pg=PA35&lpg=PA35&dq=choke/strangler+on+a+car&source=bl&ots=PExWSDX9_Z&sig=EOgzsxQYjSZNl_NMRaqwVsOyNPI&hl=en&sa=X&ei=MH2BVJa-EsPbmgWU4IKwAg&ved=0CCcQ6AEwAQ#v=onepage&q=choke%2Fstrangler%20on%20a%20car&f=false further looking said that some car makers in the 20's and 30's called the choke a Strangler such as Rollers, Austins etc.
