  2. Or me Bet it gets better fuel economy than mine. Past that SS up here with the gloss black roof just then. Sweeeeeet az. Reckon the black wheels are the ones Arron spoke of.
  3. That is something for people to remember when getting the ZF tuned Ralph...and I realllllly wish mine didn't do it. Stop the 'auto' down shift at slow (ish) speeds. Sooooooo friggen annoying. Bomber Us younger people understand hash tags
  4. Not - you're nuts..... YOUR nuts Geeeezzzzzzz lol
  5. Or if you're lazy like me Install the Fuel Log app
  6. I think Fluff has that covered hehehe
  7. I guess you'd have to work out the cost of the cheaper ones by how many you may break on a 15lb launch and add it up to see if they're worth it
  8. Oh yeah that......I've heard of that. Thanks Edit .. I mean Jets answer but yours could become a 'thing' Ralph....
  9. What's AFM?? Don't laugh at me......I know squat :(
  10. You're 50.....damn Am I still the oldest G6 owner here ?? Bugga Welcome mate. Congrats on joining Ford turbo world and you did it in the best way possible IMO. Great looking car
  11. I'll get it Biz........... ^^ front right corner .. Go back a page and there's a pic in post #12
  12. I have to give a huuuuge +1 for a ZF tune but you have to make sure that your tuna knows what he's doing (either SCT or HP) It's fine to 'firm up' the shifts and set shift points for your needs but go too far and it may do damage to the trans apparently.....as well as give you whiplash. I've heard it said that firming up the shifts can actually help the ZF last a bit longer when you have heaps of power/torque. My 1-2 shift is a bit firm for me with just normal driving but 2-3 & 3-4 are supurb. Even though it shifts-grabs the next gear immediately, you just can't feel it...it is so smooth still. I downloaded a video that Biz did when he fitted the GTX..76 and compared his standard ZF WOT 2-3 change to a video I did when I installed the muffler delete. Biz looses a bit of kph on the shift as it slips and slides its way into the next gear where as my tuned ZF grabs the next gear (spins the friggen wheels a bit) and the kph just continues to rise. Again .. I must stress, make sure your tuna knows what he's doing. Let's see if I can hash tag it properly #tunedzf4lyf ^^ Is that right?
  13. Think I better go home coz too many short short skirts in the city. Scared of having a heart attack
  14. Today = yes A cupla months back = almost no Tomorrow = ? ( We'll see if I get it impounded tonight down in the city )
  15. What are the piggies made of? Looks excellent.... Good job
  16. I can't find the fitting for the vacuum line.....can you put a link up for me please Cheers
  17. Didn't you say that the car yard organised a NSW permit? When I bought an unregistered car from nsw to sa some years back, I had to get a permit for each state fluff
  18. Sorry....missed the post. Yeah the mild steal Xforce 4" - once it's carboned up a bit - has quite a deep very nice note while cruising and when you stand on it, it wouldn't be any louder than my nizpoo I don't think.
  19. W also PMO wouldn't be able to get to town quick enough before Jet leaves the carwash so I can join the ford bogans
  20. Cheers for that Oz. ----------- Don't get me wrong, besides the pin holes in the welds (which - for the price of the thing, really pisses me off) and the cheap as sh!t v-bands (that I have to tighten each month and refer back to my first bracketed comment) it is very quiet when cruising at 60k's around town but (BUT) should I have to do this sort of maintenance to an Exhaust every month and unfortunately this sort of (not so good) workmanship also shows on some of their other products.
  21. and yet again....all I hear is bark bark bark ------------------- I would like to thank Mr Wiggum for exercising his moderating powers and stepping in to lock what was turning into a bit of a rumble....hats off to you sir. WPMO Ralph closing the thread...grrrrrrrr Can one of the Expensive Daewoo boys open another thread (maybe in members) so ya'll can get all the pics up again please.... Title can be: Fark off haters
  22. Yes fitted but Nah, ratter hitting the thing with the gas axe and super glueing it back together was extra. Just had a look at the invoice Seaton I was charged Exhaust: $2540.90 Valve: $454.55 The extra cost of the gas axe bit was a bit high imo and I still don't understand why the two trumpets weren't just swapped over to get it away from the towbar but oh well. As I have said before, I hate the sound at idle coz that valve does not close properly and it makes it sound like sh it.... I wouldn't buy it again - or even recommend it (the entire exhaust) to anyone. Other options are available
  23. I'll check out the local Cummins Shop down in Adelaide when I'm down there next time. Hopefully these things will shut the friggen thing up a bit longer than a month at a time Thanks heaps for the info. Edit: Is it possible for you to post the info in the TOG thread in the exhaust section as it may be of benifit to others. Cheers
