As you can see in the pic of my setup, a bit of vacuum hose is fitted over the original hose and the T-piece fit to that. Make sure you use good quality hose as the cheap stuff will (may) split Hope this helps

My suction cap let go when I was at Calder last year -- after run 4 Lucky it was on the return road and I was only doing about 10k's but I had an external Mic plugged into it so it only fell as far as the 'slack' in the cable. Put a mark on the paint where it hit but that buffed out.
