Hit up this thread mate as there is more chance of a quick (ish) answer http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/82345-recommended-tuner-workshop-victoria/ cheers
  2. Sicko She's only been away for 3 days ffs.. I don't think she got to finish though (I've ALWAYS been selfish) coz when I realised what was happening, I made her feel a bit self consious hehe
  3. lol...... I really did try - honest - but she went all shy :(
  4. I asked..... I even tried to slyly flip the dash cam around but she knew what I was doing
  5. Just took a friend for a ride in my car -- first time she's been in it -- and I wondered why she was moving around so much in the seat until I realised that she was getting herself off because of the vibration going through the entire car coz of the bearing.......................huge farken lols Don't know if I wanna fix it now
  6. Along those lines ratter..... Is it possible for the flapper arm to be bent? Therefore, even though the actuator is in the closed position, the flapper may not be sitting flush because of a bent arm -- or am I just asking dumb sh*t questions now coz that can't happen?
  7. Was going to suggest a smoke test.... I don't know if my tuners dyno is a high or low power reader or what but to me, it doesn't matter coz as long as I know its getting the correct amount of fuel with the right spark I'm happy. My brief to the tuner was the total opposite to what it sounds like your after. I don't want a tyrefryer so my dyno printout looks more like an 82 was fitted. Boost comes on a tad slower, holds up high for a while b4 dropping off and torque was limited to protect the trans..... didn't help my half shaft though hehehe. Wondering if there's something else going on with your tune coz mine is incredible all the way through the revs
  8. Mod it for 400...... what could go wrong? [emoji383] [emoji383]
  9. Checked my data usage on internodes website today coz it's almost the end of my billing month and seeing that the unmetered data (netflix AU server) has used more than my metered allowance for the month made me feel good. Finally feel like I'm getting good value.
  10. I just swore at you soooo friggen loudly that even with ya hearing aids off, you would of heard me........ I love how no-one has commented on how desgustingly dirty the car is in the video.........I'll tell myself that nobody noticed
  11. funny *beep* ^^ hehe and also....change that friggen sig please
  12. Last name First name Middle name It was the first thing that came to mind when I got a gmail account wayyyyy back in '04 (I think it was). There's some young *beep* in vic that uses it on the dating sites and insta......... little mofo. Yeah unlike 'most' people wilko, I get the pension so I really can't afford to get the same part fixed every 6 or 12 months. I need reliability (he says whilst wishing it would actually happen but k nowing it never will)
  13. I could have it wrong mate.... dementia an' all
  14. I've still got 19 at about 5200 'ish and then it drops away skiddy Edit can't find it atm but I read somewhere (I THINK it was on the garret site) that the ..76 is most efficient at 20 to 22 psi
  15. Yeah that's what I thought Wilko but didn't wanna commit to saying what you said only coz I wasn't positive. ------------- Mainly from the other forum Pete In a cupla threads, people speak of having to change them (bearings only) again and again.........My guess is that there is probably something else going on, and the 10 to 20 thou k mark was mentioned when change-outs were required. There was one guy that said -- IF I recall correctly -- his has lasted heaps long time <-- my words not his, but even the guy at my local Ford dealer suggested to replace the entire Hub (which comes with the bearings installed) as he knows of a couple of cars recently that have come back into their service center under warrenty when ONLY the bearings were replaced. Bottom line for me is that if I/we can find an entire, all genuine, low km one off an FG that HASN'T lived out in the weather all exposed and sh*t, then I would be better off going that way rather than run the risk of someone farking up when pressing bearings in Ford Mt Barker SA gave me these prices Bearing Kit $148.50 Hub w/ Kit installed $289.60
  16. Quick report on the ULX110 engine oil After a couple of weeks and no difference in my driving style, I have noticed a couple of different things between this and the Nulon oil. First up, in the last few days, I've noticed that the engine runs a bit quieter (once you get the injector tick out of your head) but the big one is on cold start. With the Nulon -- because I have my oil gauge 'low' warning light set to 15psi -- I noticed that even with brand new oil that it takes a bit for the warning light to turn off in the morning and the gauge to stablize at about 60 or 62 (ish)psi (remember - cold start) whereas with the ULX110, it immediately hits 65psi and I mean -- as soon as the car fires. I've only done about a thousand k's with it so far so I'll keep an eye on it but I really do reckon that this stuff is worth the extra money. ------------- As you all would remember, I shattered the inner CV on the rhs Half Shaft a while back and had to replace it -- too much torque = sweeeet -- so last week we swapped out the left one with another Repco shaft ( the cv's a quite a bit larger on these than the stock jobbies) just for that "piece of mind" thing and through a comedy of errors, this little problem then surfaced. Farken lololol. Ya reckon that might be a collapsed bearing???? hehe (Warning - Bloosted swears in the video) My advice, try not to drive the car if it gets this bad :( I'm not sure if the wheel and hub can 'actually' separate but for safety, don't take the chance please. I'm not going to get a new bearing pressed in or even get the hub with bearing installed and have that pressed in because I've read here and on the other forum that if you swap a bearing (hub) once, your likely to have to do it again and again and again so we swapped out the complete assy with one we got from Gawler wreckers on Saturday morning as I wanted to go on the High Rollers cruise that night but this one is sooooooo friggen noisy haha. Boy do I need noisy......and when I say noisy, I mean NOISY. A complete assy off a low km FG will see it all sorted this week Again, I have to remind myself that Roxy may be driven every day and be relied on, but with this sort of power, sh*t gunna happen...............................
  17. Hopefully the turbosmart actuator doesn't give you any problems as I have heard/read that they can be a problem themselves
  18. Agree I run a bit over 20 on 98 - 400kw and another member sees 24 (I think) for 440 odd on e85 and he ran a 10.71 at 131 so I would suggest that the gtx..76 isn't the problem
  19. We had quite a bit of rain up here last night so if you have one of these in the shed, can I borrow it ??? Can someone give me a wakeup call at 7am Saturday Morning please coz I have a breakfast date with someone that thinks I have a sexy bum
  20. No Skate Board either ay! These in a Size 10 ??? On the plus side I'm getting fantastic fuel economy atm
  21. And the vegies........ she's not home man Fail
  22. No paint left on mine and it has a few gouges in it :(
