  1. I'm in Vic. Not sure what I'm gonna do with the wheels just yet.
  2. Take it out. Your gear is worth more to you and adds no value to your trade.
  3. Black with red leather, all the usual options plus sat nav. Going in for a darker tint, suspension and these wheels (hope they fit)
  4. Neither! After driving numerous varieties of FG Turbo's (XR6T/G6ET) and FPV Typhoons, I finally settle on the FPV BF II Force 6 and couldn't be happier Main reasons for the choice were the level of comfort, options, price and of course... its an FPV. Moving from an BA XR6T to the Force 6 is... well... WOW. On paper the cars don't seem very far apart, but in the real world they are like chalk and cheese. I am so impressed with the performance of this car, the torque is just awesome, brakes, looks.. I could go on forever For all you guys with F6's who have modded your cars, I cant even begin to image how much fun they must be. These things are just weapons! It makes me smile just thinking about driving it. If I get the chance tomorrow, I'll give it a wash and post some pics... if not, I'll probably be out driving (possibly sideways)
  5. Negotiating price on a few R-Specs at the moment, just waiting on a few more figures. Also planning on a drive in the FG Turbo tomorrow to make the comparison. ATM I'm swayed toward the FPV F6, but a drive in the FG may change my mind. It sounds like all the FPV owners are very happy with their purchases and I do like the idea of an FPV in the driveway
  6. Gamertag = PLAYRZ Always up for some Gears Of War!
  7. Well that's the other option... I could sit it out for another 12+ months and hopefullly (given the current economic climate) I'll have enough coin to pick up an FG F6. My only fear was that if I do wait, then find that I cant afford/dont want an FG, all the new R-Spec will be long gone.
  8. Thanks for all your input guys. I'll go away and do some numbers with a few dealers and see what we come up with. I havent had the opportunity to drive the FG Turbo yet, so might try and get a run in one this w/end. Might help me make a decision... although at the moment I think Im heading toward the R-Spec. Thanks again.
  9. Some good points being made, thanks for your input guys. I love the look of both the BF and the FG so I'm not really swayed on the cosmetic side of things. I currenty have an XR6T so the R-Spec kinda gives me the feeling of "same but different" but then the FG XR6T isnt an FPV (yes, the brand is aspirational to me :ifiusethisimafag: ) I dont know if Im shopping with my head or my heart! LOL
  10. After seeing the new FG F6 310 I decided I just had to have one, but after doing the numbers it looks like its gonna be a stretch to buy one of these bad boys. So now I've decided to look at either the late BF II F6 R-Spec (very limited numbers of new ones available) or the new FG XR6T. ATM I'm swinging more toward the R-Spec because "its an FPV", its limited edition, has better brakes and a few other bits. Assuming price is about the same for both, which of the two would be a better option in your opinions? Is re-sale better for either of these cars?
  11. Anybody know when the pricing for the new FPV range will be released?
  12. When are we gonna see pricing for the FPV range?
  13. New F6, white, tint, slammed on 20's... SOLD.
  14. I've got both the 360 and PS3, but dont game on the PS3, I dont even own any games for it. Its just used as a Blu Ray player. My user name is PLAYRZ, feel free to add me, I might buy some games for it one day.
  15. Damn you! I'm sooooo sold on one of these. Now I just need to fond a spare $150K
  16. Has pricing been confirmed for AU yet?
  17. The infamous "Red Rings of Death" is very common with the earlier consoles. I got my 360 on release day and got a good 14-16 months from it before it died. Microsoft now cover the console for this type of failure for 3 years, so it should give you some piece of mind. The service I received from Microsoft was exceptional. They paid for my consoles shipping to and from repair and it was done within 48 hours. I also received a letter of apology and 1 month free Gold XBL membership. I couldnt ask for more than that.
  18. The Xbox 360 is by far the best next gen console available IMO. I currently own an Xbox 360 Elite, PS3 and Wii (yes I like my games!) and the 360 is my hands down favorite. As mentioned, you could trade your old PS2 (EB Games). My advise would be to buy the Premium pack ($529 I think?) as it include the 20GB Hard drive (needed to save games, profiles, download content, etc) wireless controller and HD connections for your TV. The new Premium consoles also come standard with a HDMI connection (check the box). There is a huge selection of games available for the 360, and many can be picked up at bargain prices. IMO the Wii is just a toy, and the novelty wears off fairly quickly. If your son is after a 'gamers' console, the 360 is the pick of the bunch.
  19. I absolutely love it. Definately going to get the new F6 if it looks like that!
  20. Your welcome to use these. Only have ones of my car in stock form. Can send you original digital files if needed.
  21. AWC kits look to be quite good. My only hesitation is that although the kit may look and fit good initially, that after say 12 or 18 months of daily driving, the kit will start to crack/chip.
  22. Currently looking to purchase a front and rear FPV bumper for my XR6T, but my only concern is that all the non genuine FPV kits are made from fibreglass. Are these the only ones available? Do any of the members who have these fibreglass kits find any problems with poor fitment, cracking, stress marks, etc? If not, what supplier would you recommend to buy from?
