No I have not undone the plugs under it I can't seam to get in there at all

Hi new here and new to the world of xr6t I have a 08 I just got last week there are stains on the ICC I can't get off I've tried everything so I decided to just paint all the plastics winter white to match the car but have got stuck on the ICC I can't get the face off. Can any one help Oh it's a 2/08 so it's the mk11 bf I can unbolt the ICC but it only slides out about 50mm that's not enough to get in and undo the face screws behind it what am I missing why can't I slide it out further
