  1. 33 minutes ago, Rab said: @bloodycrashboy will appreciate it - he already has one in service @Rab, the GTX 690 is a beast, there's just not the optimization for quad SLI, but even SLI sucks I found as time went by, with every driver update I encountered problems to the point I bought a GTX 1080, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee as far as the power draw mentioned in that vid My power supply is a Cooler Master 1300 watt unit that has a 120 mm fan that only operates when power draw is over 50% (I think) Running the GTX 690, fan would always run when gaming with the 1080, fan has NEVER run!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. true enough @Puffwagon I paid $3800 way back in 2012 for my current system (6 years old this year) I know it looks a little different now and I have had to replace my graphics card but it still retains the motherboard, RAM and CPU I bought back then can't upgrade cos Sandy bridge platform, but still is more than adequate for gaming and the odd Go Pro video edit
  17. @Pixy Angel I have always thought that with Apple products you pay big dollars just for the name here is an example from the configure your Mac Pro site and the site where I buy all my goodies from starting at the base level Mac Pro, they offer 16GB of RAM running at a speed of 1866 MHz for $640 if you want to bump that up to 64GB of ram, they will charge you an extra $1920 which is a total cost of $2560 (just for the RAM) https://www.apple.com/au/shop/buy-mac/mac-pro?product=MQGG2X/A&step=config# lets look at what I can buy from trusty old PC Case Gear in Melbourne $640 would buy me 32GB of RAM running at 2400 MHz https://www.pccasegear.com/products/32071/corsair-dominator-platinum-cmd32gx4m4a2400c14-32gb-4x8gb-ddr4 for $1120 I could buy 64 GB of RAM running at 2400 MHz and have $1440 of change to spend up large on a kick ass processor https://www.pccasegear.com/products/35389/kingston-hyperx-fury-hx424c15fbk2-32-32gb-2x16gb-ddr4-black
  18. I can't think of any secret formula many things here's a few that maybe count for something tell her you love her, every day buy flowers for her, not for a special occasion, just so you can tell her you love her make her laugh, laughter is an amazing tonic for the soul hold her close in the sad times, don't be scared to cry with her Do things together, go with her to the ballet, you might even enjoy it we have traveled extensively together, over many years experiencing good times that are forever in our memories but also some scary, life changing moments that make you stronger together we also chose not to have any children no secrets, tell her everything
