just out of curiosity, my Intel® Core™ i7-3930K in my system I built in 2012 was an "enthusiast" level CPU the LGA 2011 platform with quad channel DDR 3 memory was top dog in the synthetic test benches at the time my rig was listed in the top 1% in the world of personal computers in 2012 back then 4GB of RAM was the norm, I had 16 Intel was king of the CPU wars fast forward to 2019 the new norm for RAM is 16GB my new rig is just above mainstream, but as you can see from the pic I posted, it's almost 1 and a half times faster than my old 3930K The CPU war is now leaning toward AMD, the new Ryzen 9 3950x is due for release tomorrow, it will be a game changer cheaper than Intel and arguably better in all areas

BCB's pictorial cooking 101 for lovers of fish, this is a simple but bloody awesome prep and cook I did this after 3 vodkas, 2 ciders and a beer so it must be easy Mrs BCB even said that it tasted better than she thought it would ingredients as follows: corn flour, eggs, panko bread crumbs, lemon pepper seasoning, parmesan cheese and olive or peanut oil for shallow frying (and fish of course) first you need to cut off the skin grab a nice sharp knife, pull up the edge of the skin, insert the blade of the knife between the skin and the flesh and in a sawing motion carefully part the skin from the flesh with the blade always pointing towards the skin. cut the flesh into portions I used half a packet of the panko bread crumbs, half a container of the lemon pepper seasoning and a BIG handful of grated parmesan mixed it all in a bowl in an other bowl, 2 eggs beaten put some cornflour in a plastic bag and one by one chuck in a piece of fish and lightly dust it the next bit gets a bit sticky so no pics heat up about 5mm deep of your oil in a large pan coat the fish with egg and then immediately roll it around in the panko, cheese and lemon pepper seasoning mix and place into the pre-heated oil cook until the bread crumbs are golden brown and then turn to other side while doing this, get Mrs BCB to make a Greek salad when cooked place on paper towel to drain for a couple of minutes serve, eat, enjoy

Should be in the WMMFG thread but I'll be posting some cooking pics later. A guy at work does alot of fishing and just came back from a 2 week fishing holiday fully loaded. He knows me and Mrs BCB love fish and seafood, asked me of I knew how to cook mud crab but I've no idea So he gave me 2 monsta Barra filets

A few years ago now, my mate took his nissan suv to get its regular service (supposedly capped price) he thought he would give it a thorough clean, including a full engine bay degrease and clean before he took it in (same reason you did yours @El Andrew ) when he went to pick it up there was an extra charge on his bill for an engine bay detail he's not one to hold back, so you can imagine the size of the new butt-hole he ripped in the service manager
