  1. I hope that Tumut does not need to be evacuated for your sake
  2. I have gas, and I don't even live in NSW 2 wrongs don't make a right
  3. this is not a personal dig at you @SIMBAD , but money generated to city businesses do not help bushfire victims and I could do a risk assessment of my back yard and still go ahead with a BBQ, but that would contravene the law in essence, NSW broke there own fire ban laws, making them hypocrites uncompassionate hypocrites considering bushfire victims I'm just having a good old rant for the first day of the year I understand that people love to see fireworks but this year maybe, just maybe, the powers that be could have cancelled because of extenuating circumstances ie: 10 people dead in bushfires, over 700 homes destroyed etc, etc
  4. this is a quote from NSW "total fire ban rules" "During a total fire ban, you cannot use a barbecue outside that uses wood, heat beads, charcoal, or any kind of solid or liquid fuel. This includes Weber "kettle" charcoal barbecues." do you now see the hypocrisy of all this @SIMBAD? I can't have a BBQ in my back yard, but the gumbyment can let off 6 million dollars worth of fire works how do you think the people who have lost loved ones and everything they own feel about "fireworks" celebrations NSW gumbyment = no compassion for bushfire victims
  5. so why the total fire ban then?? not even allowed to have a bbq in your own back yard @SIMBAD
  6. wot pisses me off? The hypocrisy of the NSW govt $5.8 million spent on NYE fire works while the state is on total fire ban then some dumb ass decides to do this Quote "On Tuesday evening during the 9pm and midnight displays, a link will be projected on to each of the Sydney Harbour Bridge pylons directing people to Australian Red Cross disaster relief donation site. Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore said on Tuesday. "We will be channelling the positive energy of the event to support Australian communities that have been impacted by the bushfires by encouraging people to donate to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund." look here you dumb bitch, you could have spent the 6 million dollars on the relief fund, but no, blow 6 million dollars of tax payers money and then to add insult to injury, ask them to give even more money that stupid bitch should be thrown out of office!!!! happy new year
  7. May as well kick off NYE with some frozen mango margaritas [emoji12] and if you're wondering, it's lime zest and sugar on the rim of the glass
  8. if aluminium doesn't have a coating it will oxidise no matter what you might throw at it we use "ally brite" or "aluminium mag wheel cleaner" which basically have the same active ingredients the active ingredients are HERE it removes the surface oxidization and the surface will look white-ish we use it by first wetting the surface to be treated with water, then applying the product with a soft bristle brush like a plastic banister brush, then wash again with water if you get any streaking, just repeat the process taking care to apply evenly it is a chemical, so rubber gloves and a face shield are the order of the day after it has been in the weather for a week or so it will look like it did when it was brand new, (grey-ish)
  9. Umbrellas and hats all round [emoji3]

  13. You can understand my delemma of the pool being 33° then [emoji13]
  14. had a drop of 2°C after running for 1 hour pool temp was 33° today, now sitting at 31° this was just an experiment to see if it will work ideal swim temp for me is 28-30° none of the fittings were glued, so I had a bit of a fun time emptying about 30 mm out of the pool and into the garden now I know it works I'm going to glue it all together so it can run for 3.5 hours a day (free on solar) and hopefully it will be prime temp for swimming over the Christmas break
  15. tried a thing today seeing if I can drop the water temp a couple of degrees
  16. On that note I'd better change the oil and filter [emoji1787] @JETURBO can you please detail my engine bay
  17. clicked over the "4"s today (not that it makes me happy) but I bought this car with 40k on the clock 5 years ago It hasn't missed a beat I have serviced it every 7.5k without fail, so that probably helps I have used Bowdens products for the duration and the duco still looks fantastic considering it sits outside all day at work in the blazing sun of FNQ which kills most things including clear coat!!! this is the aftermath of a Bowdens snow job, 2 bucket wash with their nanolichious wash and then the icing on the cake, Bowdens happy ending total wash and dry time 1.5 hours the water that beads has beads inside the beads if that is physically possible
  18. Presentation is spot on Fluff [emoji106] These are the type of nibbles I love [emoji3531] Nice selection of crackers and bread to go with the cheeses and dips [emoji3]

  20. here is a couple of pics of the "second chamber" or the space behind the motherboard which is traditionally only about 30 to 40 mm hope this helps with your decision looking at the pic below, you can see the provision for a second power supply, Lian Li have thought of everything
  21. Hard tubing is a little bit difficult but the struggle is totally worth it I never used soft tube Started with hard tube and in my opinion it looks soooooooooo much better [emoji13]
  22. I bought this one https://www.pccasegear.com/products/43082/lian-li-pc-o11-dynamic-tempered-glass-case-white You can put up to 3 fans on the floor of the case blowing air up So plenty of airflow over the mother board I mounted my thick radiator inside the front chamber, with the fans in the back chamber blowing hot air out of the case I don't think you will fit a thick radiator in the second chamber Check out the video in the link above Bottom line for me I love how this case looks and accommodates everything you can throw at it [emoji3] Function and form
  23. this forum has been on a slippery slide to obscurity since the demise of the domestic car manufacturing
