  3. WOW, great shot of Philip Island circuit!!!!!!!!
  4. Id really like to see your setup jabtronic (a few pics please) I couldn't afford everything to rebuild a smaller media center so I just bought a micro atx board and processor (a smaller box,cpu cooler and power supply will have to wait) I love having a fully functional web surfing capability on my tv. It may not be cool, but heres a pic anyway, what is totally cool though is the Kodi media center software. Free content from around the world, latest movies and tv shows. As soon as I can configure it for World Super Bikes and Tennis, Foxtell will be loosing another customer! Thanks jabtronic, looks like you will have saved this family $65 per month in the very near future.
  5. I deleted my facebook account about 2 years ago
  6. It's my car, her car and the bike. Sent from my HTC_0P6A1 using Tapatalk
  7. I don't want to spoil all the fun we are having here cos those egg things make the meat look divine and I would hazard a guess that it would have great flavor and melt in your mouth. But, I cook on my gas 4 burner flame grill BBQ at least 3 times a week. (a cheepie from bbqs galore) I find that I can cook a 300/400 gram steak to my liking (medium rare) 3 minutes per side with about 2 minutes for the bbq to heat up. So it takes 8 minutes from go to wo. Fast and easy and 99.9% of the time it is perfect. When we go out to eat I very rarely order steak because my humble gas bbq does a better job than most chefs!
  8. we do notice a bit of hollowness when all the doors and windows are closed for aircon.(makes the suround sound system awesome) 90% of the time all windows and doors are open and there is no hollowness then. we have crimsafe window screens, doors and sliders which at the time was a huge cost Now we are reaping the rewards as we can leave the house open all the time which is a huge benefit for natural airflow and not worry about thieves (or mozzies)
  9. It is not sisalation Lennox. Sisalation is a moisture barrier, about 1mm thick. This insulation I have under my roof material is about 12mm thick, and is an R rated insulation (can,t remember the rating number) When we had it installed I was very dubious if it would actually do anything at all, and thought at the time, I can always put insulation back on the ceiling if it doesn't work. That was 5 years ago. here it is on the back of my garage door
  10. No, it is insulation, I stuck the leftover on my tilt panel door. It's black, gets the sun on it from about 2 till 5 in the arvo. Before I put the insulation on, you could not touch the inside of the door when the sun was on it. now it is barley warm to touch and as far as insulation in the ceiling goes, we don't heat our home (ever) cos min temp here in winter is a freezing 15 degrees and its only hot air that rises.
  11. Just chuck a sticker on your window, cops don,t have stickers Edit: motorcycle related sticker so riders know I am aware that they are there.
  12. WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! have you only just bought your car?
  13. we had similar laid underneath the roofing material, impressive stuff for the thickness of it. we had insulfluff (a woolly loose substance) on top of the ceiling, which was about 60 to 70cm deep and abolute filth if you had to get up into the ceiling space/roof cavity. removed it when we had our reno (cos new ceiling and roof) The thin foam stuff performs as good or better than the filthy fluffy crap! Just going by our comfort level inside the house and how infrequently we need to use the aircon. and bonus that the ceiling cavity is free of filthy fluff.
  14. watched "The Martian" last night, Matt Damon is great as always
  15. I'm sure that you will be happy now there is aircon. I lived in Darwin many years ago and cant imagine not having aircon in my car!!!!! Disappointing that the Ford dealer is so crap. I've read many so many bad reports of dodgy Ford dealers on this forum, so much so that I do all my own servicing. I also had an issue with my aircon not turning the compressor on, battery was flogged, bought new battery, aircon fixed. Thanks for posting the fix.
