What year was that Rab. We went on bikes in Feb 2012 and I was very disappointed in the general road surface. There were many times I hooked into a corner only to be met with a pothole (of various sizes) on the apex. Met a friend in Hobart, he said the Govt had not spent enough money on roads. Or were you just referring to the road into Queenstown ?

I doubt very much that a car would be traveling as slow as a cyclist, so no, looks to me like the truck tried to avoid the cyclist that was in the middle of a 4 lane hwy. lucky escape for the dumb ass on the bike

Im not yelling at the cyclists, they are yelling obscenity's at me when I lean on the horn when they wobble into my path.

when I was a child, we were taught at school that single file on a push bike was the order of the day on roads. It really pisses me off that the QLD powers that be see fit that these dumb ass cyclists are allowed to ride 2 abreast no matter what the road/traffic conditions are. I see them every sunday as I am driving to church, wobbling all over the road into my path, too busy thinking they are in some tour de France race. When they wobble into my path I always give them some on the horn, and 9 out of 10 times it will be met with abusive gesticulations and language. There has been a cyclist safety campaign here in QLD, and we as car drivers are supposed to give cyclists 1.5 meters of space, no campaign for cyclists to be riding single file. As a consequence, the car driver is always the bad guy - poor little cyclist hit by some out of control driver. Bloody cyclists

Im not a hater, just happy with the functionality of 7 Edit: You can still buy copies of win 7 at computer stores, so why should microsh@t force you to change to 10?

while I was in NZ I read an article warning people who had chosen to stay with windoze 7 to turn auto updates off cos Microsux is going to change you to windoze 10 like it or not. when I got home I turned off atuo updates to both mine and my wifes PC--------but I forgot about my media PC attached to the telly Go to watch a movie last night and my media PC resembles a new install (of windoze 7) with a couple of "restart required to finish critical updates" Did a system restore to before the latest updates and turned off auto updates. Got everything back to normal. Microsux can just piss off, I paid for windoz 7 and choose to keep it. If I wanted to change to windoz 10 I would have allready done so.
