  4. I have already seen the AUD pricing structure for the 30 series cards It just seems too good to be true, time will tell as for the left over 20 series cards, Nvidia will probably have to buy them back from retailers no one in their right mind would buy one now knowing the pricing and the leap in performance of the 30 series cards
  5. 3080 is definitely on the list for me if the price comes in at 1.1k
  6. so................................................................. you won't be buying a RTX 3090 any time soon
  7. Looking good Fluff it all seems to be coming together pretty quickly edit: was thinking of poor old @Pixy Angel and the sh#t storm he had
  8. I thought it spent most of it's time tucked up in the garage
  9. what will become of all the 1st gen RTX cards that are still in store they will need to be dramatically discounted if any one will buy them I see that PC case gear has dropped $400 off the 2080 ti over night but still selling between 1.6k - 2k I really can't see us getting the 3080 for 1.1k current pricing of the 2080 ti will have to drop by at least another 1k before it's even close to being competitive

  14. the cortina guy came into work Friday his car roof is cactus and needs to find a donor body good news is that the indecent had nothing to do with the grill I made it was the bonnet locking pins that failed other good news is that the ANDRA boss that was there licencing him said most bonnet ups result in a car flip because the drivers go off the gas and then deploy the chute which lifts the rear of the car So he granted old mate a licence to drive his cortina
  15. cos @Rab came through with the goods fish fajitas
  16. yeah nah mate put those there for size contrast egg wash, lemon pepper seasoning, panko bread crumbs shallow fry in olive oil will be the method of deployment just so long as I don't have too many of these

  20. Project Cars 3 is being released in 2 days !!!!!!!!!!! was so excited I nearly pre-purchased a copy of the deluxe edition.................................until I read this this is so disappointing to read, I for one will be steering well clear of this title excerpt from the above article : "Sadly, Project CARS 3 has thrown all of that out completely, with that feel now gone. Cars no longer react consistently, or how you would expect them to, when hitting ripple strips or kerbs. You can no longer tell when your car is on the edge of traction, and saving a slide becomes a monumental task should you find yourself in one. Traversing Bathurst is a nightmare over its dips and bumps as the car seems to move with a mind entirely of its own. A good race car with a strong setup feels grounded and balanced, but also right on a knife edge. You can trust the car to power out of a corner or brake consistently and drive it right between an equilibrium of grip and slip. This is completely missing from Project CARS 3. Instead, every car from the very slow to the blazingly quick handles like a boat and wobbles around like you’re out at sea."
  21. Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 touted as a game that will bring even an RTX 2080 Ti to its knees so I thought I would take a look at it I let it set it's own default according to my hardware and it runs really well considering the reviews I've read online running 2560x1440 @ 144Hz does smash the GPU at 100% most of the time but the frame rates I'm getting are more than acceptable
  22. I pay $707 per year with Shannons Fully comprehensive with minor mods Also just renewed policy with them for my Ducati They wanted to charge me $700 for my bike as well Western Underwriters offered me a fully comprehensive policy for $420 When I told Shannons I would be going with WU they matched the premium Always pays to do a bit of an online shop each year You can save hundreds [emoji851]
  23. I welded 8 fittings (Aeroflow ) to a couple of exhaust manifolds (steel) The fittings were very low grade stuff, so much so that I probably wouldn't buy something from them not saying that this is indicative of Aeroflow generally, but my very limited personal experience with one of their products
  24. I dunno He was running 11's the previous day setting the car up cos never been down the strip before It was his first run for the day, it didn't look that fast , maybe a high 10 ?
