  1. Got a couple of Bunnings vouchers from the in-laws for Chrissie out with the old in with the new did take me an hour and a half to put it together also had to take it out of the box at Bunnings to fit it in the G6ET's boot
  2. half cup of dishwasher rinse aid in a bucket of very hot water scrub windows with soft brush and solution. hose off job done don't do it in direct sunlight, in shade if possible edit: obviously you can only do that to the outside, does wonders for glass pool fencing as well
  3. the speedo on my standard shod G6ET is 1 klm slower than a GPS at 100 klm per hour.
  4. I lived in Perth for a couple of years and I totally agree. Trouble is, most of Australia is the same, morons everywhere. I would have to disagree Fluf, GPS units triangulate off satellites, and as long as you have a decent visible piece of sky above your car they are accurate to within about 0.2 klm per hour! here is a quick read if you don't believe me http://www.theglobeandmail.com/globe-drive/culture/commuting/whats-more-accurate-the-cars-speedo-or-the-gps/article4348596/ and here http://gpsinformation.net/main/gpsspeed.htm
  5. these products are not cheep, but you get what you pay for. http://www.intergrain.com.au/exterior-products/ We have had this product on our back deck (covered) for 20 years. We have sanded back and coated again 3 times http://www.intergrain.com.au/product-selector/product-detail/intergrain-dwd Edit: DWD is not an oil and does go a little opaque when wet for a long time. I have used a cheep Cabbots oil on a jarrah walkway to the pool, but that needs re-oiling every year (in full sun/rain)
  6. there was a very good comedy show in the late 80's, early 90's called "Fast Forward" in this particular clip, cricket could be applied to film review
  7. Do you have the aircon back on Pixy? I hope so, summer aint no fun without any aircon. on a side note, my aircon stopped in my car one day last week, 33 degree day. drove around town with the windows down but still ended up feeling hot and dehydrated. got home, cleaned the battery terminals and viola, aircon back. stupid car. only car Iv'e owned that is so sensitive to "slightly" dirty batt terminals they didn't look dirty, just dull.
  8. Morning Keefy so you like watching paint dry then? Edit: bought some more LED's, vanity mirror lights http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/322081242988?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  9. I used to sleep walk when I was kid, woke up in my sisters room in the spare bed once. I was like, where am I? definitely getting old Puffster
  10. How does your house look Fluff? Did Huds smash his flash SUV into all the nicely painted walls?
  11. the bottom picture looks like some sort of weird reptile
  12. BCB is 50 something and counting. We have a cat and he has a curfew of 6pm. Cat is pretty good, if he's not hanging around the house he comes back to the house at about 5:45 - 6 today 6:15 comes and no sign of cat. Looking for him I find him in a Mexican stand off with neighbours cat over our back fence (vacant lot) Just sitting about 2m apart staring at each other. Calling our cat, no joy, still staring at each other. So I throw a couple of twigs to move the neighbours cat on, neck minute its all on for young and old! So what do I do? Jumped the bloody 1800 high fence. Neighbours cat immediately bolted, probably due to my grunting as I hit the deck on their side Mrs BCB is like -"R U alright, do I need to get the car and come pick U up?" Funnily enough I was fine, climbed back over the fence without jumping, a little more dignified. One problem getting old, you never really feel old, your body just doesn't work as good as it used to
  13. Computer CPU's seem to have come up against a brick wall. My 3930K is now coming up to 5 years old, and it doesn't seem any slower than what is on offer today. But I don't do anything 4K, for me it's all 1080
  14. Good job there Ralph. [emoji106] Please post some pics of how you make the wastegate pipe, I'm very interested how you get the shape transition happening. It's the only thing stopping me from making my own.
  15. put those LED's in the car today K31th. the door and boot and rear of of console light need these (so I bought them) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/301835341595?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  16. I now have the temps on the GPU's down to within a couple of degrees of each other the coolant flows from pump to GPU # 1 - GPU # 2 to top radiator to CPU to front radiator to pump etc, etc. The front radiator is the largest and seems to be doing a killer job these temps are over a 6 hour period today, with 4 gaming sessions of about half an hour a piece. already done

  19. Because it was double demerit points yesterday, our drive to friends for lunch was a cruise control affair. Still blows me away how economic these cars can be in cruise mode[emoji3] Did overtake 8 cars and still got this result [emoji39] BTW: Mrs BCB took the shot[emoji13]
