yeah, the days of making a coffee while you waited for your PC to connect to the internet those days I'm glad are gone for good. my NBN hook up is fiber to the node I was disappointed when I found out my area was not going to be fiber to the premises but I must be in the sweet spot as far as distance from the node goes 100/40 unlimited data with TPG so far so good

Soooooooooo, all the desktops at work run windoze 7, boss wanted new desktop to run same which makes sense. Microsoft in their infinite wisdom because the uptake of windoze 10 is not happening as they had planned, decide to lock out new generation CPU's from receiving windoze updates starting with AMD's "Bristol Ridge" and Intels "Kaby Lake" When I bought the bundle from PC Case Gear I didn't know about this When I found out (reading the motherboard specks) I was hoping for a work around. initially everything went smoothly, 7 operating system loaded sweet, overclocked CPU to 4.9 GHz, sweet little unit humming along nicely To my surprise windows update worked! Downloaded and installed over 200 updates over night. then today I got this when installing another 10 updates that came through did a lot of googling today and nobody had any answers. So I did a little bit of uninstalling of the last few updates and can't believe I have such a simple fix I am currently downloading these updates which previously I could not get because of the lock out I had encountered. If I am right the culprit if anyone is interested is update (KB 4012218) Edit: the "learn more" button in the first pic tells you to upgrade to windoze 10

My boss has finally given me the go ahead to make a desktop for a new office employee :-) Made this one for $1200 grabbed an i5 bundle from PC Case gear. has 16 GB of RAM which is over kill (part of the bundle) but the i5 CPU overclocks sooooo good! I threw in my old H 100 for a laugh and come up with this. ended up with 4.9 GHz !

got my carbon front guard from the UK :-) all I can say is wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought a carbon front guard for my GSXR from Geelong carbon Craft and I thought it was a pretty good product. Not so, this one from Carbon King is a work of art. Fits better than the standard one if that's possible I'm still grinning from ear to ear

Fitted the headers and mufflers and polished the hugger. [emoji3] Now just need to modify my tail tidy to take the blinkers. Then it's a waiting game for the front guard from the UK

hugger turned up from the US pretty rapt, genuine Ducati performance product, fits perfectly $130 USD + postage does need a little bit of a polish up, but I think I can manage that
