  1. Thanks guys, ok so they are finiky. J@snot I had actually been reading about yours, I think that you are still using the original lines up to where the original cooler was and then have used the push in joiners provided and then the 3/8 hose provided as well up to the cooler is this correct? I want to mount mine under the floor on the passenger side footwell, im now thinking of loosening the bracket around the fittings rotating them 180 degrees so they face backwards to the standard position and use as much of the standard hoses as possible buy the fittings that push in to the lines that would normally go onto the ford cooler off furious and then use a small amount of 3/8 hose to connect it up to the cooler, Im then hoping that this would at least have minimal issue's. Thoughts guys.
  2. Hey ratter I never said what size the cooler was ??? The furious kit that a lot of people have used already runs 3/8 hose, so I wouldn't have thought there would be a problem, plus im sure the factory hose's are only 3/8 internal diameter. The cooler was bought to use on my 351 with c4 full manual valve body, I've used similar before and never had an issue, am I missing something ?? Ratter do you do a kit that is suitable to be mounted under the passenger footwell/ seat area between the two rails like Vevapower has ?? Thanks again guys I am used to working on the old beast's but these new one's might be a whole different kettle of fish, im just trying to get my head around this all so sorry pls bare with me.
  3. Thanks chlaxn, and yes rhr these are the one's that go into the side of the box, found out today that I can get a reducer from the -8 or -10 to a -6 and then get a fitting for the -6 with a 3/8 hose tail to fit my hose, cant believe that it is this hard to just get this cooler on.
  4. Thanks guys, I think 3/8 hose is the standard size isn't it ??. Thanks quick 1300 I already have a b&m cooler that I got some time back for another car, I just want the fittings that's all, F$%k they are hard to get hold of. Those dash 8 fittings if you look at the hole in the end that goes into the box, it looks ( and it is hard to see ) like its only about a 1/4 inch hole, is there any chance of measuring that at all ??. I was trying to just get hose tail fittings because its so much easier, but looks like I will have to go dash fittings, if I have to do this then I might as well go braided lines. Anyway guys thank you very much for your response's any other info greatly appreciated.
  5. G'day guys, I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find the fittings that push into the side of the gearbox, I want to replace the plastic ones with metal/brass, they would need to be hose tail 3/8 dia. in either a 90 or a 67.5 degree's configuration. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
  6. Just my opinion, but the goverment have alot to answer for. Firstly taxes, they should tax the import cars more or reduce taxes on the holdens and fords to make them more competitive, secondly, its like the water tank thing, when we had the massive drought's a few years ago, made everyone building a new house install one told us all to buy one use less water, so we all do this suddenly they are making no money of us because we have made ourselves just about self suffient with our tanks, so they up water prices and then try to tax us on the water that falls from the sky for free into our tanks of our roofs. Now because of the carbon tax electricity prices are ridiculous so people have forked out money to get solar just like the goverment wanted us to and now their going to tax people who have put solar on because the electricity companies are losing profits so intern the goverment get less taxes. Seriously where is it all going to stop we can only afford so much, our employers cant afford to pay us more because of the same problems as above, and business in Australia at the moment is struggling, its slow everywhere, hence Ford closing. This goverment has killed this country and in my opinion September is to far away to get rid of them, the damage they will have done by then will take the next goverment years to fix, take a look at Queensland for example, everyone is up Newman, they forget that they had a different goverment for donkey's years before and that they left Queensland in a massive debt hole. Australia is in massive trouble industry wise, and while I would like to believe that the whole country does not totally rely on the mines the sad fact is that it now does, and right now with the taxes the way they are ( carbon tax e.t.c ) if the goverment does not change hence getting rid if these taxes the mines will look to try to move as much offshore as possible aswell. One thing is for sure just like the water prices haven't gone down now that we have heaps, which people would then use more, I can bet you the electricity prices will not go back down to normal levels one the tax is removed. Goverment needs to step in on big business's like these two and banks and try to make them be more senseable about their decisions to hold onto or raise high prices and not give the rate cuts like the reserve bank has. Anyway that's my rant done. Very sad news about Ford my Father god rest his soul would be devestated,as am I. Unfortunately I believe this is only the beginning.
  7. Sorry guys never heard of these guys, do you happen to have any contact info. for them at all pls. Thanks Michael.

Hey guys, thinking of doing the same mod, just wanted to know if the Dekka 80 pound injectors that Rapid has will be enough or will I have to go the xspurt 1000's at twice the price, look if the 80's wont do then they just wont do but if they can safely, then I can spend that money on something else. Just a thought do you have or are you going to do oil pump gears, and valve springs. Thanks Michael.
