Am in the process of purchasing an ex-company XR6T and was wondering on whether I'm getting value for money? Car is a 04/04 build, manual, premium brakes (I believe, they have FORD stamped on the calipers) and is used to commute from the mountains (Syd) to Parramatta most days. Currently has 45,000 on the clock and knowing the owner is lovingly cared for. It has been modified by Brad Garlick (chip & exhaust I believe) and owner has a dyno sheet which recorded 275 rwkw and 330 flywheel. Knowing sh*t about the technicals regarding cars I was wondering if the group could share their knowledge and let me know if you think that high $30K is a reasonable price? Also is there anything specific I should look for that might indicate a lemon.? Car has always been service by Brad Garlick and will continue to be for the next 4 years.
