  3. Guys, guys guys; I am a Ford man through and through. I have purchased a F6 which I have to say is the best car I have owned thus far ( I have owned a few cars from 2 HSV’s then seeing the errors of my ways, seeing the light and have owned 4 Tickford/FPV’s). But to compare a F6 to a M5 well... someone is smoking some good stuff . We are not comparing apples with apples in fact it is a totally different league. As is the Commonwealth Games with the Olympics, FA League with World cup Soccer, Ing / Pura Cup with World Series Cricket. F6 with M5.. A different league!! Both very good in their respective classes. As already mentioned by a few, we can afford the 40k-60k and yes the F6 is great value and the performance is excellent (especially how easy you can tweak these things). Sure 245k+ for a M5 is allot of money for a car... but this is great value if you have the money, and good on those who can afford cars of this calibre, because hopefully one day I will be able too (yes I am smoking something good now) . I currently own a F6 mildly tuned (273rwkw), and it has some pretty trick suspension. My brother has bought himself a 98 Ferrari F355. Yes we have lined them up, and let me tell you I give him a good run for his money. In fact he gets scared and if I get a better start on him, we are side by side. He will have me by a half to ¼ car length by the end of the quarter. Not bad for a 60k car!! And I am sure if I upgrade my injectors and zorst I will have no problems in doing him over the quarter. Now!!!!! The difference is, we have taken them both to the race track and this is where you get humbled. You get eaten alive. Remember when spending big $$ on a car like that, they have been built for performance and racing. I can see why you would spend such money on these things. They just thrive on being driven hard, going around corners and more importantly stopping at some ridiculous speeds but not just once or twice, ALWAYS! It’s as if you have just completed the first lap, where as a matter of fact you are up to your 10th lap and the car wants more, it does not give up! If you have the privilege of driving a M5, Ferrari or any car of that calibre, I am sure your attitude will change. They are unbelievable cars in their own right. Just as the XR6T, F6, GT are good cars. My two cents worth. Cheers
  4. Courtesy of Simon from XTREME in Perth I did the battery in the boot and shifted the air intake to the battery side, injectors, fuel pump, 4 1/2 inch dump pipe, twin Hi Flow cats, twin 2.5 mandrel bent system, BOV, and EDIT. Now anything over 360 RwKw and the infamous AP Racing clutch stops clutching, so 350 RwKw is the limit until some ceramic clutch plates arrive. I have a feeling the power is getting up to "Ooppps I Broke It" levels, but 350 Kw on the rear is an awesome HSV destroying driving experience, with the speed limiter raised to 199.9 mph the car pulls hard, with the speedo needle on the stop pin at 270 in 6th gear at 4900rpm it will shove you back in the seat until you run out of bravado. NOW that's A CAR <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes Please. I want one of those above!!!
  5. The only mods I have performed to my F6 thus far is K&N air filter and Edit with Xtreme Custom tune (thanks to Chris and Simon). She is now running 273rwkw
  6. Well what can you say...FULLY SICK!!!!! Looks great! :hiwelcome:
  7. Love It. Went up to the Sydney Motor Show on the weekend. The BF looks great, although I have to admit I prefer the F6 BA stock rims. Damn... I may have to trade in the BA Phoon for a new one!!
  8. F6 Dyno sheet. Stock Internals and Exhaust with Xteme Tune only (for now??!!). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Great any graphs showing boost? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Second that motion :-) any graphs displaying what the boost levels are to achieve those numbers??? - if you have them... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> boost was a max of 14psi tapering off down to 7psi
  9. F6 Dyno sheet. Stock Internals and Exhaust with Xteme Tune only (for now??!!).
