With the 3.5" or 4" dump, is there any need to get wastegate or actuator mods. Its just that there's a 4" dump that's for sale cheap and im not sure if it would suit. I would prefer the 3.5" for spooling earlier, but if this will suit ill grab it. car is std atm, but will have tune, inj, dump & cat done at once. cheers

the tuners I've contacted said they have no issues with using a V1. not wanting to tune myself, that's why I'm going to pay for a custom tune. cheers for the heads up though

we weren't to keen on the colour but the car had everything that we were after & needed a car asap so colour just had to do. its growing on me though. might even do a bit of weekend work, slap the cab stickers on the doors & get them home in a hurry

Hi all, long time member, only recently purchased a turbo though. so much info available, have been reading like crazy & planning mods, I've only had the car 4 weeks. details are in sig. below, only has 51k's on it.

I've recently bought an auto bf2 turbo & im getting high 12's low 13's, 60/40 city/highway driving, using the trip meter. I'm happy with that figure. it gets a bit of squirt every now and then too.

hi all, newbie here. are the xcal 1 & 2's still ok to use? will most tuners still use them. I know the 3's are newer, but do the earlier versions still work well for a tune of 300rwkw etc? cheers

For $25k you'll find one with some extras and have a bit for tune & injectors. I bought a 10/06 bf mk2, 50k's, auto, sports leather, premium sound & reverse sensors for $22k 3 wks ago. had to travel to sydney to get it but well worth it.

I should have clarified that I live in brisbane & bought the car from NSW so no rwc had to be supplied. I will need to do this to t'fer to qld rego though. I think I'll just take it to ford, I dont want to cause any issues. cheers

Sorry I have the ZF g/box. I copied the g/box schematic from another thread so will try and have a look under the car this afternoon.

Hi all, I've had my car a week now and only realised my reverse lights are always on. I have reverse sensors installed and they're always engaged because of this. I have spoken to ford and they want to have a look at the car, seem to think its prob. a switch on the g/box. Has anyone had any issues like this? can I fix it myself or does it need to go to ford? cheers

been signed up for a while but only just got my car. will be happy with mid 200's for a start. not sure how long that will last. I have bf mk2 so hopefully with 2nd cai, bigger cat, injectors & tune I should get close. I'll keep an eye out for a cat back exhaust. cheers

I think that Nizpro have got a base Focus and are developing a package for the focus and are using the edit as their tuning tool. It would be interesting to see how much you could get out of the 5cyl jobbie. Im a fan, but not before a turbo. First things first.

Love the ride. low n sleek. Ultimate cruiser with all the electronic jobbies. Now all you need is the edit and 4V heads off XR8 or even better GT orGT/P. Put it on the wish list.

That looks real horn. I too need to see the car in the flesh to fully appreciate the colour, but I love it, you must be stoked. The 18's look the goods in my opinion.
