Hi there, I have a knock coming from the rear of my 2009 XR6T, Especially when going over bumps, the sharper the bump the louder the knock, I took the car into my local ford dealership today to try and get it diagnosed, They came back and said it has a few issues going on, The rear diff bush is completely knackered so that needs doing The rear sway link bushes are also shot, so they need doing too, And finally on the job sheet it says that both Rear ball joints are shot RR Bottom and LR Top?......... What part are they referring to? as my parts guy said there aren't rear ball joints as such on the car........ are they referring to another part? Control arm bushes or something? any help would be great so my part's guy can order me the correct parts for the repairs

Hi there I am new to this forum.All the way from old NZ, I have purchased a 2009 fg xr6t, I am very pleased with the car and its performance ( Converted Expensive Daewoo fan!) lol I have noticed though a rather annoying knock coming from what I think is the rear of the car however... when going over medium to large bumps in the road, I don't think its coming from the front as you can notice it when going over railway line... the front doesn't do it, then when the rear wheels hit it knock knock!, It doesnt do it under hard acceleration... just when going over bumps, its really annoying, any ideas of what it could be? I have a mechanically minded mate coming over next week to try and diagnose, but any suggestions to point him in the right direction please?...
