Manta twin 3"
With plaz cooler + plenum+ intake
Ported turbo + actuator
Valve springs
Surge+ 044 + 60s.
Twin 3"
407rwkw at heaps of boost. Think 360 at 16psi iirc
If I could get 360rwkw I would be happy but I doubt I could as my exhaust sounds like it's a big
Restriction after reading the sizes you fella's run.

Dropped the rig off to elite this arvo after fitting the pw stage 2 core.
See how she goes.
-
I thought most people ran twin 2.5 "
A fella from 6 boost said slap a second 044 in and they Jamie could possibly pull 400.
I Will see how it goes with the New pw cooler and deka's after the retune but I don't see that getting me up much more hp

Elite automotive Brisbane mate.
Felt like they where a good choice as Steve has a quick ba and I have seen plenty of good cars there.

Hi guys I bought a ba turbo a while ago and wanting to get up closer to the 400kw mark so far I have.
Forged rods, hypertek pistons, valve springs,
Atomic billet oil pump, hardened cam gears.
Stock turbo with flapper mod 12 psi actuator.
Plazmaman 4" intake
Plazmaman plenum
Plazmaman surge tank Bosch 044
after market dump pipe, cat and mandrel bent twin 2.5" exhaust
6 speed manual
Eaton true track Diff.
Drilled injectors to 60lb
Old 2.5" in/out Process west stage 2 core.
Tune made 320rwkw on 17.5 psi of boost.
Not grate figures.
Just bought the New process west stage 2 core with
3"in/out.
Siemens deka 60lb
Still making the bracket for the front mount.
Should be more efficient cooler than the older model.
Car goes good but should go better with less psi.
Thoughts anyone.

Hi guys I own a BA xr6t
When I bought my car it had a tune with a curve like a free style kicker ramp I could rev it as long and as hard as I wanted and it was running 466rwhp on 16 psi . tuned by 6 boost.
I decided to get a new custom tune so I took it to a local tuner in brisbane.
No SCT device was used in the tune.
Any way I took it in and he tuned it to 452 rwhp with a curve more like a some what rainbow now running on 20 psi and must say feeling a bit worried and he said its fine but up there on the psi scale.
Now when I get up it in boost it cuts off completely like I have turned the car off steering goes heavy ,breaks fade .
limp mode the tuner called it .
He has dyno'd it 3 more times and said he can't get it to go into limp mode but every time I get it back I can.
Over 2k in tuning and no joy .
Elite auto motive is the closest ford tuning shop I know of and I am about to cut my losses and take it to them and see what they can do.
Any ideas guys ?
Fairly cut about this as it's a waste of money .

Cheers panda eyes.

I like how these. 4.0 litre engines can pack a punch.
what are you guys running to make high power?
E.g. Plamun, psi, cold air intake, front mount
-
I'm surprised how much you can push the stock plenum as the chamber volume looks far smaller than any aftermarket type forward facing plenum .
Do any of you guys use a bigger throttle body ?
-
Man that's awesome out put.
I have 466.7 rwhp on 15 psi and wanting 500 + rwhp
I was thinking by the time I replace the HDI with a process west 2 core, plenum ,3.5 " exhaust and get it tuned by elite it would make close to 500 rwhp
-
Hey just wanting to buy a plenum and wondering what brand to got with.
I am about to replace my HDI front mount with a process west stage 2 core and a single 3.5 "exhaust.
I currently have HDI front mount ,process west under the battery intake and cross over ,after market dump pipe ,forged rods and pistons ,turbo smart plumb back BOV.

Hi all new to this site.
Bought a BA xr6t and loving it .
Just put a eaton true trac lsd in and a npc heavy duty clutch .
Decided to go with process west for air flow goodies .
All adds up quick a lot of dollars but well worth it.

Comes down to the tuner I guess because I have far less pipe work for the air to go through before it reaches the throttle body there for it should be colder and make more power.
