when I bought my ba it was already tuned by jamie and wow he can tune.. it had a curve like a free style kicker ramp.no power down low than ramps up to slamming power like a 2 stroke moto.
I did bulk mods and toowoomba was a little far away so I tried a couple south side shop's and ended up at rdp.
I guess we can only go on personal experience with performance shops.

I've had my old ba tuned by rdp and my current car fg f6 and both cars run sweet and good kw and torque, customer service in my experience Has been great.
Lee did a touch up tune on my car for free once when I had a dud 02 sensor that was making it boggy a stall. and my cousins fg was tuned for free once he had his Clutch replaced.
By the way skippy nice car mate enjoy the beast.
such a nice car these fg's.

1 grand is great compared to $2500. I was planning to buy spool gears or intunes as there all the same material only price varies from roughly $250 between all suppliers. Only billet housing I've seen is atomic for about $1200 for the complete pump.does intune, spool make a housing ?
Cheers old_mate and arronm.

Hi sixman the oil pump gears are $2500 fitted.its a painful job by the sounds of it . engine out or k frame off.

Thanks wpn270 well mate we can be sure it will go past 600rwhp as his plates are fgx600.
The team at rdp are brilliant with these cars.
he is using a turbonetics turbo this time I haven't seen how they go but I'm sure the Fgx will pump.

I bought a fg f6 with bonnet, roof and boot wrapped in carbon. Looks nice.
What do you guys do to the edges to stop the peeling ? E.g. more tape, silicone.
-

just need oil pump gears next.

I'm at Queensland gold coast
I live in brisbane and up here the eagle farm hardy spicer build a few different tailshafts the toughest being the yoke or cv replaced with a uni joint.
I will be getting one built as I am afraid my one will let go.

I spoke to my mechanic today when I dropped the rig off for new engine mounts and he said hurricane recommended the twin over the single but back then I wasn't really chasing this power level.
Good idea mate to get them to test the exhaust.
-
I am taking the word from my mechanic who fit it and he hasn't steered me wrong so far and he said it's straight through but who really knows unless you can test it.
It cost me over a grand for cat back so I figured it was a good cat back but maybe crap.
-
Done more mods such as garret GTX 3582 ,Bosch id 1000 and tuned by real dyno still it must be my exhaust holding it back as they tuned it to 366.8 rwkw at 18 psi and try'd 20 psi and made less power ,there guess is my hurricane twin 2.5" exhaust but I cant get why the exhaust is holding it back as it's like straight through or valve springs going soft,

Eaton true track Diff.
Bosch id 1000

Tuned by Real dyno to 366 rwkw
Thoughts anyone.

Awesome result mate for the mods and temperature.
Well done.

They are in Toowoomba.
The previous owner of my BA had it tuned by them .
The dyno power curve was like a free style kicker ramp it went nothing to everything was a little dangerous.
Fun though .

Nah, I'm from Sydney mate.
Find it very strange that Paul would agree to fix your car but not replace the headlight, they seem like a professional outfit.
FPT is getting some very good wraps lately but best to go and see a few shops and see who suits you best.
Paul seemed like a good business man but he said I came to the party by fixing the paint damage but will not replace the light .He mentioned he has a sign saying we take no responsibility for vehicles on our premises .
but there has to be a line when your apprentice runs it up against the wall .
His loss anyway he wont get any more business from me .
Is FPT the guys from sydney that moved out near ipswich ?

I was talking to Real dyno and old mate said put ID 1000 in and had to change something in the fuel delivery and I would see the 400rwkw figures .
I wish I had e85 close by.
Servo's need to click on and see there is great demand for it.
-
Mine made 370 at around 16-17psi on 98 ron with a PW stage 2, walbro intank, seimens dekkas, xforce 4inch dump 5 inch cat and twin 2.5 cat back.
Don't worry about dyno numbers mate, there are so many variables.
The blacktop is the true indicator of power, for referance mine went 126MPH with 370rwkw on 98.
I shouldn't be so concerned about dyno figures as it goes good enough for a street car .
I still would like to try e85 at some stage.
have you ever used Real dyno ?
I got stuged by Elite as there apprentice ran my car into the wall in there shop and cracked my light scratched my quter panel and front bar.
paul payed for my paint and panel damage but refuses to replace my light so I need a new shop.
-
Did they say what was holding it back
I spoke to the owner of Real dyno and he said for the mods to the power it's about right .
But he would go single 3.5" exhaust and 100cc injectors .
might be the exhaust holding it back.
-
Xr made 345rwkw with the pw stage 2 and deka's
I said in the original post I had 320 rwkw after looking at my old dyno sheet in fact it made 330 rwkw.
Sorry for miss lead info.
