  1. Happy Birthday terra88!

  2. Happy Birthday terra88!

  3. Actually no it won't send. Maybe because I'm on the phone? What's ya email?
  4. oh and I was a Expensive Daewoo supporter through and through, till I drove the TTG
  5. Mine is thirsty around town at around 16lt/100klm but good on the highway at around 11lt/100klms, although mine isn't stock... I'll sell ya my Black 07 Turbo Ghia for the right price ;-)
  6. So to put all the so called experts at ease, Today I fitted the Nolathane front diff bushes to the TTG. The bushes cost me about $130 from eBay and took 2 hours to fit in my driveway. Only special tool you need is a air hacksaw to cut the original rubber bush shell in half to remove it. (although I already had the compressor and rattle gun etc to make life easier) Cutting the old shell out is a bit of a bitch, but once you do the first one, the second one is easier cos you know the easiest way to get it out. You can see the instructions on the Nolathane website yourself. Now there is absolutely NO more noise or vibration from the harder bushes and considering they have a lifetime warranty then got to be happy with that. So if you like to work on your own vehicles or don't trust "rip off" mechanics like I do, then its easy to do, but if your not mechanically minded then you might be stuck....
  7. Even if they are using genuine rubber ones, they can be purchased on eBay for about $80 each and do take a bit more to fit but defiantly not an all day job. People have been quoted $500 for the same job which is more reasonable I think. In all honestly you can tell me you would hand over more then $1000 for only two bushes. I think not.
  8. Turbo territory's chew out the rubber bushes constantly. The noelathane bushes have a lifetime warranty and voided sections to minimize NVH, yes not as good at reducing NVH as rubber but still I would much prefer knowing that I don't need to replace it every 6 months. And FYI go to the noelathane website and read to fitting instructions for these bushes. Any mechanic that would charge nearly $1000 in labour, so lets say 10 hours labour need to take a good look at themself as they are ripping people off.....
  9. I just brought noelathane bushes off ebay for $130 and going to do it myself. Defiantly not $1000 worth of labour... what idiots
  10. Mine had a small section about 3 inches long that had been cut out and re-welded to allow the bung to be removed. You might be able to see if there is any extra welds on the pipe that would suggest it has been taken out?
  11. It had the exhaust bung removed and flash tuned on the dyno.
  12. Ok so you recommend the cooler heat range for the flash tune? And what gap is best to set them to?
  13. Hey all, I'm only new to Fords and just got myself a TTG and the vacume hose to the BOV is tied in a knot? I have read that you guys disconnect them and vent the factory BOV for more noise , but I always thought that you need that vacume hose connected to the other side of the BOVs's piston to keep it shut during boost? Are the factory ones setup different to aftermarket ones?
