  6. C & V Performance have put a twin plate brass in my M6 Turbo , never slipped since . There is abit of a shudder upon releasing the clutch on take off's , but it can take the abuse. Ph: 02 9526-5322
  7. I can buy them in Sydney .But they are the stealth ones hiiden behind the front bumper . Laser detector is also useless unless it has a laser jammer with it . <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry, I'll clarify for those who don't understand. Bell won't ship to Aus UNLESS your a recognised distributer. ie no go for average joe. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What im saying is there IS an undercover dealer here in Sydney . He wont let you in unless you have called him before to say you where coming. He also checks out where you are calling from to make sure you are not dressed in Blue.

  9. Because it's the law. They must be secured and not just slipped over the pedal. It may not move now, but when the rubber ages a bit and softens up you might go for the pedal one day and find yourself pushing the floor instead. There have been documented cases of accidents being caused because of this with some of the over the counter cheap alloy look pedal covers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> that's funny cause I also have a Golf R32 , and the pedals are just slip ons from factory , no bolt holds them on.
  10. I agree , go the wide kit!!! and the wide wheels , stuff comfort when you have the looks haha
  11. he may of killed himself hahaha (joking)
  12. Is yours a phase 2 kit only??... or do you other mods as well?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nah , I have other mods as well. I went for a customized job instead of a phase 3 kit
  13. My ute has just over 300rwkw , the clutch just lets go at 3000rpm and gives up haha . Picking it up tomorrow with a twin plate brass
  14. Place a screwdriver in the rear section ( closest to the windscreen) and lift the cover up , and it pops up
  15. At a recent dyno day the MkII's were consistently giving higher numbers (10-20rwkw) in both the autos and manuals than the equivalent MKI's - although there were a couple of exceptional stock Mk1's. Regarding the recent motor magazine tests and the slower qtr mile times, doesnt the MKII manual have a different g/box and diff ratio? Which is probably also affecting the straight typhoon times. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is interesting.... I wonder if it is just the Flash and it we can get a MkII flash into the MkI... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have a MKII , it got flashed a by a dealer anyway . Loss of power too :(
