  3. Exactly what I've noticed as I'm looking at buying a BF XR6T as well, but only if I can sell my current ride (supercharged manual Verada). BTW did all BF XR6Ts come with a rear LSD or was it an option?
  4. best kebabs in melbourne can be found at "has kebab" on bell st opposite the maccas
  5. I've seen the Mitsu Express van with the same rims in Moorabbin (where I work) and I've seen the Nissan Skyline with the same rims in Preston (where I buy my kebabs). The Ford logos on the centre caps have been replaced with custom made 70mm Toyota centre caps stickers.
  6. The BA XR 18x8 knock offs that I have on my RAV4 were bought from TTF Mitcham. They even had custom 70mm Toyota centre caps made up for the rims so they could replace the Ford centre caps
  7. I wouldnt be surprised at seeing Falcon rims on a Magna as they both share the same stud pattern. In the past I've seen AU XR wheels on a Magna and a Soarer. And just recently I've had BA XR 18" knock offs put on my RAV4...same stud pattern as Falcon whees!
  8. Thanks guys...glad you like the look of the rims on the RAV. I got the rims and rubber for $2000 from The Tyre Factory. I got 2 other quotes and they both wanted $2500. The price is so high coz of the weird sized tyres I had to get. The tyres are Dunlop SP Sport2000...they weren't my first choice. I was after Toyo Proxes T1-R tyres but they wont be available in the 235/50/18 size in Australia for a while so that's why I had to go with used tyres. 2 of them have 80% tread left while the other 2 have about 95% tread left. These tyres cost about $500 a pop brand new so I got a good deal considering the rims are about $280 each. You can tell that these rims are knocks offs by looking at the lines on each of the spokes. They are a little longer than the original Ford wheel ones...but people cant tell the difference from a distance! BTW, the RAV is already lowered 1.5" on King Springs. Can't go any lower as the shocks won't take it. Eventually I'm gonna go for custom lowering springs (2.5" at the front and 3.5" at the back with rebuilt shocks). That should get rid of the gap.
  9. Thanks for the positive comments guys Most Toyotas with 5 wheel studs have the same stud pattern as Falcons (5 x 114.3). The Ford logos have been removed and I'm waiting for some Toyota logos to come in. I'm running 235/50/18 sized tyres...fills out the guards nicely. Stock size was 215/70/16.
  10. Hey all...first post on this forum I'm not a BA XR owner but have always been an admirer of the car...and especially of the XR 18" wheels. I own a 96 Toyota RAV4 Cruiser which is the Victorian rep car for RAV4OZ.com. Good way to bring attention to any car is a nice set of wheels...so I got some XR 18" knock offs the other day. What you guys think? I've been reading this forum over the last few weeks and it's similar to the RAV4OZ.com forum we run. In fact, I think GlennXR6T is also a RAV4OZ.com member. If any one is interested in RAV4s check out our site some time
