This happened to me when I bought a SS Commodore. I worked across the road from the dealer, they even saw me walk across the road to my workplace and then I was sitting in the lunch room having a sandwich and see my SS Late model camira drag off another car at the lights. Then I saw it do it again and they just kept going up and back down the road. Funny thing is I actually had a video camera in the lunch room with me (just lucky really) so I filmed them going up and down. So I walked across the road with the video camera and showed the service manager (the car was not back yet from the test drive) and he was horrified, however I think it was more the fact that I got it on video than anything else. I went off my head at him and I ended up getting 3 years of free servicing out them for it.

Well today is my big day!!!! Just waiting for it to be delivered to my house now. It is only a week later than they predicted but considering it got lost in the delivery process that is not too bad.

I just got a call from the dealer to say that it has arrived. They are going to do the registration and so on today however I can't have it today. I have to wait until Monday or Tuesday. I am pretty pissed off at them to be honest, they are blaming Toll and Toll are blaming Ford. I don't care whose fault it is just hurry up and get me my car as I am currently borrowing a car off a friend until it arrives. Hopefully it will be worth it when it arrives.

It was a funny conversation with my dealer, they rang 4 times in the space of 30 minutes, firstly to tell me they had lost it, then the second one was it might be in Sydney but we are not sure, the third one was it might actually be in Brisbane but we are not sure and the fourth one was I will give you a call whenever it turns up to which I am still waiting on. So I wish I knew where it actually went to but maybe Sydney somewhere!!!!

Cheers mate, They rang yesterday to say they have found my car (unbelievable). I will just have to sit and wait to see if it arrives at my correct dealer now. Thanks again mate!!!!

Hi Senna T, Just wondering if you had time to look at this yet, you may be on days off (if so, lucky you). I have just been told and I quote "We have lost your car". They have no idea where my car is. Are you able to verify if this is true or are they telling me bs. Any help would be greatly appreciated as if I don't get this car by Thursday afternoon I am doomed (well not really but I have to borrow a car off my parents and it will be a Holden). Thanks Michael

Senna T, Can I ask another favour from you. Does the SIDO tell you when the estimated delivery is? Reason being is that I live in Brisbane and obviously they are built in Melbourne. You told me two days ago that it was on its way but now they are telling me that it wont be for another week. I wanted to know if you could tell me if it has arrived at the dealer. Reason being is my sales person is on leave for another week and I think they are waiting for her to come back before they hand the car over to me when I could be driving it around a bit earlier than a weeks time. If you cant tell whether it has been delivered or not that's fine but it was worth a shot. I wont go dobbing you in or telling them where I get my information from. Hi Senna T, Are you able to provide the eta of a car without the SIDO, as in can I provide my name, dealer, address whatever you need to know. My dealer is not forthcoming on information that's for sure. It was meant to be one date and then it got put back and then brought forward again. I trust you with what you say so wondering if this is a possibility as they will not give me a SIDO number/ Cheers Michael

Sorry, I probably didn't make myself clear enough. In the new FG Falcons, the radio has RDS or Radio Data Signal which enables radio stations to send text with the audio signal, meaning they can display the name of the station and the song currently playing and so on. I was just curious to see whether the stations were using this to the full potential or were just displaying the name of the station. I hope that makes sense.

Hi guys, I ordered my G6ET today, I decided to go for Silhouette with the shadow interior. While I liked the look of the Cashmere leather, I couldn't imagine that it will stay clean for very long in the area that I live so decided to stick with a darker colour. So, I have been told 11th October Delivery, but having bought many new cars previously, I know this may not be true. So the fun part begins, sitting around waiting. Cheers Mike

Hi Guys, I am seriously considering getting a G6ET as my new car and have been shopping around. However, if it is not too much to ask could you guys tell me how much you paid for yours? Also, with regards to the reversing sensors in these cars, are you able to change the tones at all, I am deaf to really high frequency noises so not sure if I would be able to hear that but wondering if this can be changed. Either that or is there a light on the dash or something to indicate it as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Mike

I work for the QPS and my job is to manage the police reports and so on QLD wide. I was actually the person who entered this report. I was almost in tears. I am so sorry mate to hear about the car going but I can guarantee you that the cops are working hard on it.

I was wondering if someone could tell me if I go to the ford site and do a Build and Price, does that include GST? I notice it says it includes LCT if it is required but couldn't find if GST was included. Wondering as I don't pay GST on new cars and not sure whether the price it quotes is minus the 10% or if you would normally add this onto the quoted price. Any info would be great thanks.

Cheers guys for that. I am a little cautious about the leather but it doesn't sound too bad really. Going to the dealer tomorrow to see if they have any with leather to have a look at. Hopefully get the approval from the financial controller too to trade in the GT as well. But we will just take one thing at a time.

Hi, I have had a BA XR6T and a FPV GT which bot have had the cloth trim. I am interested in getting a XR6T or a G6ET with leather, obvioulsy lit is no cost option on G6ET, I was wondering what the leather is like. Does it deteriorate over the years to where it looks like rubbish or does it hold up quite nicely? Does it get hot at all and stick to you? Any info would be great Thanks

I think they have done really well with this years schedule. All races will be seen on the same day rather than leaving it till sunday like Channel 10. They have changed the Eastern Creek race to go over 3 days instead of 2 to coincide with Queens Birthday Weekend. So basically the races will start earlier and finish and then the AFL will start. I think that is fantastic. I don't even like the AFL but the thougt that all the qualifying and races will be live will be fantastic. I think it is great that Crompton is staying with the series. He is a very knowledgable man. Leigh Diffey is off to America again to have another crack at commentating over there. It all starts this weekend with a 1 hour preview show of this years season. 12.30pm on Channel 7 obviously. I like that we are getting a dedicated V8 Supercar show just about every week instead of the RPM show on Channel ten which had two minutes of the V8's then all this other rubbish. Anyway, that's my 2.2cents worth including GST.

G'Day mate, how you going? I am going well, married life is fantastic apart from this Ford Dealer rubbish. Hows all your kids going? 80000 ks is what I would expect out of these brakes. Not 30000.
