  1. I'm no pro but I'd deff replace the seals for peace of mind nothing worse then installing everything and having a $10 leaky seal
  2. +2 where did you get it!!!!
  3. that'd be great if you could!!
  4. Cheers Ralph!!! ever helpful as usual
  5. Not sure if this has been covered before sorry if it has had a search and couldn't find anything. But anyway just wondering if anyone has had any luck with the SuperChump 6T Press advertised for $129, I'm going to be changing out the the lower control arm bushes and ball joints in the near future and thought for that price you can't really go wrong even if it does the car twice.
  6. Cheers Guys one of the upcoming weekend jobs I have the pleasure of looking forward too haha
  7. Sorry to steal the thread but BiZkets any surprises apart from said skinned knuckles and tight spaces?
  8. /\/\ This if there was an alternator problem pretty sure you'd get a light popping up on the dash? can't confirm as I haven't had this happen to me yet touchwood haha
  9. I'm about to attempt this thanks for the Write up Arron<m

  11. Cheers Guys I should be on the right track now!! $180 dollars for the front pads from Bendix blew me a way a wee bit. oh well I guess you get that haha
  12. So I've got an 07' Typhoon with the Standard 4 Pot Brembos up front but 2 Pot non brembos down back are they PBR Calipers? If so would that make the pads the same as the MK1 Phoons? May be a silly question but I'm wanting to get the pads before I do the job to save having to mess around going back and fourth the shop.
  13. Sorry I'm a simpleton and only have manuals can someone enlighten me as to what "flaring" means? just curious
  14. I've got an BF F6 not sure how much difference there would be between the two exhausts? Anyway I replaced the middle section two months ago and ever since I've hated it haha it sounds like a tractor. when your casually driving backfires and cackles on the overrun (Some may like this) however it doesn't drone at 100km in sixth but anyway I wouldn't recommend it
  15. if the leaks big enough which it sounds like it is you won't feel the boost so much as it's just going straight to the atmo through the said leak. put a new gasket on an torque the bolts up and you'll be away laughing
  16. Been a Euro I could only imagine Emission Standards would be the same or more Strict than they are here so removing the cat could make the car throw codes? could have a flow on effect to other systems of the engine just my 2 cents worth that's all. I'll let you get back on your high horse now.
  17. I would say baaaad Don't Euro's rely a lot on the cats and no cat can hinder the performance?
  18. so your the lucky bugger that bought it haha I saw it I cried that it was so far away from me
