  1. Welcome, Great choice of colour. Until yours comes you can ogle over this one.
  2. ownaxr6t The bloke I bought them off said they slip over the pedal just like the rubber ones. He is providing two bolts for clutch and brake that are optional for extra security. I think I may just use a bit of contact cement though. He states they are genuine perhaps a phoon owner can look at the piccy and confirm. I wanted alloy pedals and all the aftermarket stuff from supercheap, autobarn etc are too narrow. I also was not going to pay $270 for the Ford ones. All the best
  3. Just picked up a set of FPV alloy pedals off e-bay for $100.00. Seller SVOMotorsports had 5 sets and only got two bids. He has other sets in both manual and auto coming up as well. If anyone is looking for alloy pedals that seems a very good deal compared to $300ish from FoMo. Here is the link cheap pedals
  4. Anyone who drives out west I highly recommend mmeshman's (No 1). Drove from Toowoomba to harleville return on the weekend and pulled out a handfull of locusts from the lower grille every couple of hours. Would hate to be trying to clean them out of the intercooler.

Welcome Jim have fun with the T
  6. I like the first one and to do meshman justice here is a photo of my Vixen T with his mesh fitted with no badging. I like it anyway and that mesh may just keep a few insects off the intercooler.
  7. I have noticed my T has a slight surging feeling when coasting at low revs (around 2000) anyone else noticed it. I was wondering if it was normal about the turbo cut in revs I think. Car idles fine and no issues under acceleration.
  8. I'm happy to go as part of a group. Meet in Brissy somewhere?
  9. I would'nt mind coming along to pur some faces to nics and give the T a run. Ross. Flexible with dates let me know. Ta

    Tyres

I put a set of kingstar tyres on my old AU they are manufactured by hankook as there budget tyres but when you do your research they are identical to a VENTUS K 106 which is a performance tyre sold in the States. Only used them for about 500 klm but they were quiet, good grip wet and dry and very very cheap about $125.00 a corner 17's. Worth looking at if you want a good quality budget tyre.
  11. Here are the photo's of my new vixen baby. Hope to catch up with Qld members at a cruise in the near future. Happy new year
  12. the pics will follow as soon as I can drag myself out of the drivers seat to get the camera out.
  13. Well, I was'nt scared off just that some of us have to go to work. Much to my delight pick up the toy tomorrow a very nice early christmas present. Have a good and safe chrissy. Rossco
