Thank you so much Jeff, gosh you got a good memory. The celebrations have gone on over three days, due to family not being able to get together at the same time. My sister took me to "We will rock you" on Saturday at Star City, and then dinner, the kids all came over Sunday for dinner and presents and cake, due to one of them working afternoon shift on weekdays. And tomorrow my actual birthday, will be candlelight dinner with Ken, what did I do to deserve that. Wish Theresa a Happy Birthday for me, and thanks again

It's ok Ian, there was five pools in the resort, I kept losing him. When we were out on the reef I should have done the whole leaving behind on the reef, like the american tourist that were left behind a couple of years ago

We are arriving Friday 25th March and leaving Friday 1st April. Ken has Sat Nav now so hopefully he will be able to find SA. Can't wait to take him sightseeing, he loves craft shops

Just letting you know Ken and I have booked and paid for Spirit of Tasmania (Ken is really keen) By doing this early there is a 25% discount on fare, that is a trip over from Melbourne to Devonport and returning Devonport to Sydney in deluxe cabin. this is cheaper than the two berth cabins we had in November, it is also off season, heaps cheaper. Now all I have to do is put up with Ken saying come on August.

Just got home from a farewell dinner for Ken, off to Vancouver tomorrow. Ken is madly packing, and keeps asking me what to take, and I keep saying ME. Phil you have to go, won't be the same without you. He can't find his passport now, pity I hid it. Better go

After reading this thread I am amazed at the amount of people on second marriages or relationshps. Makes you ponder on what actually makes it work. Ken and I have been married for nearly 28 years and the secret is ????????? Would love to give you words of wisdom Wayne, but I just don't know. One thing is Ken made me laugh the first time I met him, and I don't think I've stopped. His sense of humour keeps me going, even through the toughest of times. His in Hong Kong at the moment, and his sms messages are outrageous. I think if you can handle each others bad habits (and Ken's got a few) enjoy each other's company (I still love seeing his face at the end of the day) laugh a lot and know that you can lean on each other in times of stress. Whoops said I couldn't give you any words of wisdom, but that's ok I can change my mind, I'm a woman.

Don't worry Lumpy, I speak to Ken daily while his away. He's such a sook, gets homesick, if it were me I would enjoy the hotel food and being waited on. And could you please get your time zones sorted boyley your ringing at the wrong times. Could you also sort out your bowls mates, there ringing at the wrong times. Apart from that everything running smoothly, I think.

Can't tell you how much Ken is looking forward to the South Australian trip. His been to Adelaide many times with work, but hasn't actually seen anything. He is in Hong Kong at the moment, flew out yesterday, spoke to him today, and sent him shopping. He is so worry about me taking Precious, would I do a thing like that!!!!!
