2 prior for me, 1st - Manual yellow Volvo 850 T5-R (awesome drivers car - still miss it!) 2nd - Auto Volvo C70 Convertible, transmission much smoother than XR6T. hardly any lag (Best 11 speaker Stereo)- just a cruiser. 3rd - Current SSS XR6T - (couldn't afford Volvo V70R) going great guns - no regrets, plus Ford own Volvo.

Hi, Anyone see the latest comparo of the F6 Tornado against the Maloo in the Wheels mag?.... The best they got out of the F6 was 0-100 6.7secs and 14.8 sec 1/4mile (as far as I remember)...The Maloo did 6.2secs, can't remeber 1/4 mile time...They say that the problem with the F6 is that it ways around 150kg more than the Maloo, hence slower....Maloo got 4 stars to F6 3.5 stars. And you guys are positive that the Service people at ford can't pick it up? Aren't we allowed to go for services to Ultra Tune etc, which also doesn't void warranty, I'm sure that those guys would never even pick up if a tune existed.

I think some cheap sh*t 95 octane at a small back steet servo. Next top up, I will try more of the premium stuff from Shell or Caltex.

Hi fellas, I'm just wondering you you guys can shed some light on this. I always drive my car on Premium, and have been averaging around 14.7 L/100 (5000 kms SSS car). Got the sh*ts with the price of fuel one day and put in unleaded. Didn't notice any performance drop, but it felt quite responsive and seemed stronger. I also averaged 14 L/100 on the unleaded tank. Is there any explanation for this, I was driving the vehicle the same way for both tanks., or do I try unleaded again for experiment purposes.

I work as a contractor as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), in billing systems. Currently contracted to IT Outsourcing Company 'EDS' working with Telstra Bigpond Billing System. After hrs, trying to renovate home to sell for profit...Not easy with 18mth old squirt and another one on the way......

Hi fellas, I have a SSS XR6T and just want to know your tips in getting the optimum take off from the lights. I usually just rev to around 2 grand with foot on brake and then just plant it with the transmission in Perf. Any tips?, haven't lost any so far... Vixen

Hi, I managed to get a SSS Mk I runout model, with premium sound, leather and sunroof $5000 worth) for $43,000 driveaway! Only have done 2800 on clock, no probs apart from slight diff wine around 95 k's, but it seems to be getting quieter. Awesome car at an awesome price!

Has anyone have a car-bra for the XR6?, would like to know where the best priced ones are around - or if someone has a good condition one to sell second hand. Going on a bit of a trip and want to protect the front duco on my 2,500km Vixen XR6T. Thanks.

I love the Vixen Red the best! - closest colour on the road to Ferrari Red. Just have to stick a yellow prancing horse sticker on the side front guards!

I managed to pick uop a brand new Vixen red 11/03, auto, with premium sound, leather, and I made them add in a sunroof for 43 drive away.
