Just clocked 110,00km :( and it needs some work thermostat is leaking water out a seal. Just had the vicious coupling replaced Needs diff bushes replaced Think the transmission needs an overhaul as it flares a very little going from 3rd to 4th and slams into 1st when slowing down..... } But it seems to be holding up well against our Earthquake damaged roads here. Ive only had to replace the rear tyres 3 times because the sidewalls on the 19 inch rims keep blowing out. lol. Still wouldnt replace it yet.

The difference with mitsi is that they genuinely had a sh*t product and resale on all their cars was rock bottom. Just remember the diamante. Could pick up a.2 yr old diamante for quarter the price of new. Did unsee any die hard mitsi fans out there...... very very few I would hope the demand for the performance and higher spec falcon stays alive. I am in love with the 6t engine. Its just beautiful. Just hate the clunky rear end.

Im sad. What does this mean for the value of our cars

God I just got 350km in the tank. But back country road driving in the evening up to the farm and a real sh*tty week helped me feel spirited....

hmm - think it may be transmission oil tbh... not good. as the engine oil level hasnt dropped at all.

I got 400km from the tank of fuel. A fair bit of reving up and many stop starts and small runs. I notice on cold starts these use a sh*t tonne of gas haha. The engine etc seems to be running fine. The readout says 15L/100. most of the time I accelerate it goes to 99.9 per 100 - but when normally accelerating its generally around 30 - 40 ish. I have a 350z also and this little car has a 20L bigger tank than the falcon.. quite supprised at how small the tank is on this car. 600km around town from a sports car is great. 400km from a big tank sucks, but its still alot of fun. I love boost

Hey are these cars (I have an fg xr6t) meant to pop on de-acceleration when using the tippy function. Or have I got a bung one. Also the red rocker cover paint has started to peel at the front. Not very pretty for a lovely engine. Can you just paint it? But whats a deal breaker is there is an oil leak. Only very small and not affected oil level bugger all but I can smell it when its been for a run and there is a drop on the garage. Not sure yet where its from. But oil leaks are my little pet hate! Is there any known obvious things it could be before I take her to the hospital?

Hi New here from NZ. Got an FG xr6 turbo, keen to know of low key mods to do to improve the enjoyment of the car and also love to know the maintenance tips anyone has to keep the car in top condition. So far have read lots of awesome stuff so thanks to all for all the experience etc and wealth of knowledge here.
