Hey Fill, I met you last night. I was the rex that ran 12.1@115 and my brothers STOCK M5 with 21s ran 12.3@114mph. I thought you were happy with your times!!! How wrong am I. Also, have you considered Autotech to do some tuning on your car? Anyway very nice ride!

I can not believe some og teh dribble that is types on this forum Seriously, as if a GTHO would ever be a T6 Look that's why they have the F6 not a GT6. And if Ford ever do a GTHO, why wouldn't it have the new GT40 motor S/C 5.4 Then Ford would OWN Holdens arses! And the mighty V8 would own the F6

Mate, one US car mag got 0-100 in 4.1. And a modded M5 will be better again. Yes there is a big difference in price, but because you have a F6 or a Ford you keep trying to make it all better by saying that the f6 is equal! And my brother has had many Ms and bimmers. Not teh best car or his fav car. Just the car that his wife will allow. 250k car allowance isn't too bad.

So you are saying a stock STi runs mid to low 12s? As M5s are running 12.1 to 12.5 in standard trim. STock Stis run High 13s. so no real comparision there. STI = POS compared to M5. And that's coming from a Suby owner.

Zap, I don't think that the Oz m5s have any problems so for! Yanks kill cars, look at the E46 m3 and all teh hassles they had! And in Oz not a single motor blown!

We could go on for ever. In 10yrs time the F6 will be about as great as a EB Falcon. not real impressive! The Ms cars are well built. The old m5 (e39 ) was a 99 model and it was still tighter than a new Falcon - Commonwhore. And had reasonable resale $100k. For a 6yr old car.

M5 seats grab you as you turn left and right. the bolsters adjust on the run. Idrive, have you ever used it? No I didn't think so. Not really that hard once you get the jist of it. What about sounds systems or sat nav? BMW all the way.

The wheels are 9.5k with rubber. The clutch in teh M5 doesn't like repeated launches. But will stand up fine to a track day. M5 has an interior 100000 times better than any Australian made ford. No disagrees that the F6 is a great car, but really it doesn't compare.

That is identical to my brothers. Same colour, wheels and add ons. Wheels are 9.5x21 (f) 10.5x21 ® Rear tyres are 295/25/21 Contis. Very sexy!

The m5 can run and has run 330km/ph with its limiter removed.

Mate, You T owners are trying to compare a Euro Super Salon to a F6. I mean really........ I have been lucky enough to have driven the E39 M5. And I mean Drive ( thrash ) and it was a great car. The E60 is just another level of car again. So While I get to drive my 220kw atw Rex all day every day, I try not to compare the rex to a All wheel drive Lambo Because the two are so different.

My brother has a E60 M5 and I have to say it sh*ts all over any Ford. But in saying that you can not really compare the two cars! One is a Super Salon, the other is a Taxi. I mean what aother stock 4 door and compete with it? E55 and the Bentley. Both Euro Sper Salons! Please grow up and get your heads out of your Ts exhausts! Uwish

You don't know what you are on about. Turboed rotors run 4.58s some even higher. All cars like lower ratios, just depends on what box you are running. Auto and 4.11s are the go for 1/4 racing, especially turbos.

Someone will do Twins soon enough. The Fastest GTR in teh World runs twins. that gtr is teh HKS GTR 7.8@181 or something along those times.

Guys, I was driving home from work and I passed a burnt out new ( well new colour ) xr6T. I almost cried. ( I hope it wasn't anyones in here ). Anyway it was on Miller Rd ChesterHill across from the school. Bastards
