Got my wheels, fit all good but very close to control arm I think it is, maybe 5mm between the edge of the tyre and control arm. Now if I go from the stock springs to SSL kings will it hit that arm?

Put on lenso d1r 18x9" rims all round with 265 tyres. Difference in grip over 17"s with 245s is ridiculous!!

Hey, have an 08 fg xr6t. No problems at all really except that every morning when I start it up it's really sluggish for the first 300m or so then it's fine. This morning it was lurching and it nearly stalled about 3 times down my street then by the end of the next intersection it was running perfectly again Any ideas? It's stock, still has stock injectors as far as I know, only mods aftermarket cai and intake muffler delete Oh yeah checked the throttle body a while ago and it was pretty clean, butterfly moving freely Cheers!

Don't you have a massive stereo in it? When I was running 1500wrms to a car stereo it killed batteries every 3 months or so

The fg xr8s are really slow as well unless You do a lot of work to em. Like marginally faster than an n/a xr6 slow. Buy a turbo instead

so you sold me these injectors on ford forums stating "injectors were in the car for about 15,000ks. I bought the car with them in it. I only replaced them because the car was losing power and because I didnt know much about them I replaced them with bosch 525cc items. Just bought some rims and tyres off a dude, they are 18" but realised the tyres are 265/35/18 Is this going to change my speedo or is this the right size cos the tyre is wider therefore profile of 35 is closer to stock than a 40 profile would be?

steve did that happen when it was cold? First thing in the mornings my car is a bit rough and nearly stalls sometimes but after driving like 300 meters it's fine.

That lurch is common for the zfs I think I read about it, pissed off a lot of jag owners. I think they can fix it with a retune of the box

We just got one done by autospections and they were extremely good. The guy we bought the car off couldn't believe how thorough they were, was there for 2 or 3 hours taking sh*t apart road testing checking absolutely everything.. Highly recommend them. They also used to work for Rac mobile inspections or something but Rac doesn't do mobile ones anymore so they started their own business
