    Shoe goo eh, good idea. Hopefully there's enough length on the tinsel lead so it doesn't just pull off again and start slapping again.. You can rip em clean off driving them too hard. I've done it many times with subs haha.

    Yeh I wouldn't be putting superglue on a speaker cone.. Especially if their plastic. sikaflex/silicone mebbe like that guy said ^ ? Tinsel lead slap they call it btw

    Think my mate paid around 30 ex demo but this was 5 years ago when it was still the xr5 turbo

    My mate had an xr5 turbo.. All round id say it was a significantly better car than a falcon but no where near as quick. Just nice to drive, great handling, much better interior and seats, better ride etc. even my mrs loved driving it. But yeah not much space for the family car. And couldn't do burnouts or get the back end out obviously

    Looks like a cable we had the other week, a rat had chewed through ours partially though causing it to short. Good times!

    My alternator went a few weeks ago. Got "charge fail" warning after a few meters driving.. Better check it all out or you will get stranded if your just running on battery power. My car made it down to the auto sparkies 10 mins away and pretty much died in the carpark

    Where's this drain line how do you get to it? I've had the aircon water dump a couple of times

    Short drives man.. These cars hate em. Even my last falcon (not a turbo) was the same. When I was doing short trips I found even if I babied it I saved f*ck all so just enjoy it and forget about the economy!

    ^ totally agree with that, not to mention all the awesome new gadgets and features like torque vectoring and crazy suspension and a myriad of other things I'll never understand .. Ford looks like it'll just be another falcon with a decent motor and big brakes and nothing else
