Yeh I know the stuff.. I thought that was called sisalation? It definitely works anyway cos the use it up in port Hedland in a lot of houses and it's frequently 45+ Celsius there.. I noticed it while crawling through roof spaces as an apprentice haha. Much nicer than crawling through insulation batts. Just curious as to the noise difference because when I bought my house there was no insulation on the ceiling and it was noisy as f*ck then I chucked in all the r4 batts and it killed all the noisey reverbyness of the house

All double external walls like arron said.. the red ones are cheaper big internal bricks that get plastered over. . The white ones are the face bricks on the outside you actually seeThey used to rarely have insulation in the cavity but we just got some new energy ratings in the code I think a few years back which means they have to have certain directions walls with insulation in the cavity etc. Friends built a few years ago and had to do it all.

That's how the vast majority of houses are constructed over here.. you weird eastern states stud frame dwellers..

Get a fourby if it's a decent sized boat and you can afford it.. otherwise you have to pick and choose which ramp to launch at. My dad got stuck wheelspinning in his work car with his old boat which was 18ft runabout and had to get a stranger with a land cruiser to pull the boat out for us.. he went and bought a pajero after that
