As I anticipated they would give me no info about the pad rating numbers other than "the numbers are friction average at certain temps", and wouldn't tell me any more when I asked what temps they are and if they are a standard temp across the board... So that sheds little light for us. Sorry guys

    Did you hit the limiter a lot to make the oil pump gears let go? Or did it just happen giving it a bit
  5. At work atm no time in days to make phone calls...but I'll send em an email and see if they answer. Quick googling reveals a letter marking system where the first letter is cold friction second letter is hot friction but strayans seem to rate pads with a numbering system so can't be certain.

  7. Pixy don't think that hardwiring everything=fast net though, if the line speed to the house is sh*t (ie you're miles away from the exchange like me) then you're screwed :(
  8. I'm assuming the 2 friction numbers are minimum and maximum is that correct? So they even perform better at lower temps which was a surprise for me.
  9. Is the friction coefficient worth comparing brake pads on? Cos the ns400 look quite sh*t from that perspective. The higher end hc800 appear to perform better even cold and significantly better when hot?

  13. ^ sounds legit I just use the footbrake though just stall it up as much as you can until you get wheelspin.. if youre not getting wheel spin you can build more boost/rpm before the launch and turn traction control off! as long as you can correct the car getting sideways yourself.. I never have tc on when Im driving hard, takes all the fun away

  16. Battery impact wrenches are awesome. Can chuck it in the boot for drags or track day or whatever for easy changing of tyres. Can't do that with an air tool. Oh yeah another awesome thing I discovered last time changing tyres at the drags- the jack has the same size hex head on it as the standard wheel nuts (or close enough) so you can use the impact wrench to jack your car up I got a pretty decent racing jack from repco but may have been a bit more than 200
