They're torx bolts in the airbox... Ford use em for various things like the bolts that hold the seat down etc.. You can get a set of torx sockets from a hardware store

Aircon ahh I thought so. Took the whole plug out and the gas stopped so I'm guessing my aircon won't be real cold anymore. Lol.. maybe time for a regas

So it seems I undid this white plastic plug with a hexagonal head under that plastic flap under the front bumper left side and a sh*tload of gas shot out with some freezing coolant.. assumed it was radiator drain plug but obviously not

Thanks for the reply. I have an mtx-l from innovate. I heard the wideband oxy sensors don't like the heat too much from turbos do you find you have to replace the sensor often?

Hey has anyone installed a wideband oxygen sensor in place of the stock oxygen sensor in the dump pipe using the simulated narrowband output of gauge? Just wondering how it goes. And how long does the wideband sensor last? any problems? Don't really want to go to the exhaust shop as have no time and the mettams near me suck so I'd rather chuck it where the stockie goes.

Hi looking at some new rims for the FG xr6t sedan which is at standard height. Just wondering if 19"x9" +35 255 will fit on front and 19"x10" +38 295s will fit on the rear? I know literally nothing about wheel/tyre sizing so any help would be massively appreciated. Cheers!

Yeah I know! Went to look at one the other day and the guy wouldn't budge from $26,000 and it wasn't even in that great condition! Cracked leather seats, 85,000kms, sun damaged rear view mirrors.. needless to say I didn't buy that one. It only costs 800 bucks to get a car shipped here from eastern states, seriously considering that route

Hey so I'm in the market for an FG XR6T sedan at the moment, I'm in Perth, and everything on Carsales is going for around $30,000 unless they have done over 100,000 kms! Is this an utter rip off? Red Book says the 2008s should be going for about $22,000, are the dealers just trying to push up the prices or is this genuinely what people are paying at the moment for a 2009/2008 XR6T sedan with average KMs? Has anyone bought one in Perth recently for a decent price? Don't want to get mega ripped off by a dealer and then go to sell the car in a few years and lose loads!! Cheers for the help guys.
