    Well seeing as yours made a similar but quieter sound I'm going with what Chris reckons, probably normal just louder cos of intake and muffler delete pipe. The boost gauge reads bang on 9/10psi under full boost as well so I guess that indicates there's no major leak.

    Yep as above mr ninka kindly got the original fitting in for me. I was very lucky there was an expert like him on hand or I might have been walking home with my tail between my legs.... Tight as a drum now no leaks for the past week.

    Aftermarket cold air intake with a pod filter makes a big difference as well, I fitted one this week in addition the the muffler delete pipe the spool sound is crazy loud now and you can hear it sucking in tonnes of air when you put your foot down even a little now. Something to look at if you want a bit more noise

    Do you need to torque turbo/exhaust manifold bolts on fgs or is that issue sorted? Might look into doing that Sunday if its easy enough

    Just get an intake muffler delete pipe. They are in the buy and sell pretty often, I bought one from a guy on ford forums for about $100 bucks

    I believe it is quite difficult and very expensive...the entire gas system needs to be changed as the mixer ring setup can't flow enough. check fordforums.com.au there is one guy whos supercharged an Egas and also one whos turbo'd one I think. The guy who supercharged his spent a stupid amount of money doing it

    I may be in in the oil line changing tutorial.. Sounds like a good thing to do. Do you have to do an oil change at the same time or is there not much left in the line when the engines been off for a bit?

    Cheers for the info. Are those open slather events like an actual race? Dunno if I'm serious enough to do that I just kinda wanna push the car a bit harder round corners and stuff than I'm willing to do on the road kinda thing, learn my boundaries haha Why is ex cop car winning? It has small wheels - 17"s. gotta do something about that

    I drive a stock 2008 nitro xr6t ex cop car (has cop chip ) This is my first fast car so I'm trying to learn everything, sometimes I make mistakes like opening the aircon gas port.... give an excellent wristy I think I'll fit in well Do you guys ever do track days? Where can one go for some more than spirited driving in perth without losing your license? I notice whoop ass is over for a few months now
