  1. Had checked it been pretty stock up until around 100,000km's and then just had an 8 psi tune whent he turbo was replaced , front mount and exhaust.
  2. Oh and rewelded and reinforced the drivers seat.
  3. Ba bought with 138,000 in february. So far replaced, serpentine belt, coil packs, gearbox, clutch, diff, right hand cv, trailing arm bushes, all spherical rose joints and shock absorbers. I have power steering pump and line coming in. I'm now around 11k including original buy price.
  4. Yeah I'd known a few guys that'd used them behind 400whp RB25's and what not hopefully it'll last. if it doesn't clutch will be replaced and car will be sold, didn't know how many things could go in such a new car getting a bit sick of repairing it.
  5. Agh fair enough. yeah thanks stainless, only time I've had a ceramic clutch in a car it wasn't for carparks and didn't really ever take off under 3k I didn't know if I needed to look into another area in the rear end or if it was just the clutch itself as a week after installing the clutch my diff went and I thought that maybe it's put wear on something else. Thanks for the answer boys.
  6. they told me they built them, obviously not.
  7. Nope not custom obviously one of those chinese sh*t green clutches as it was green.
  8. Dude I don't spend all day on the forums, I've only just rechecked this. And yes ralph some things have been difficult. But honestly I've never owned a modern car and things are a lot different to the r31, pontiac and datsun I've always worked on. It's a Hardcore Cush Button cermaic pressure plate side, organic flywheel side built by Sunbury brakes and clutch in Vic.
  9. kaotik bleeding the clutch without that line isn't that difficult at all I don't know what everyone complains about, once you feel it out it's pretty simple. (yes I've done 5 and 6 speed 6 speed are more tricky to find )
  10. Thought so I've had push button clutches and completely ceramics before its just hard to drive a clutch like a *beep* when it really feels like you don't need to as the clutch pedal feel is softer then stock.
  11. Hey guys first I thought it was bushes. Then I thought it was diff then diff went bang assumed it was diff. When I slowly slip out the clutch with out throttle just feather it in and out in carparks I get a jarring shudder through the driveline only ever since I've installed the clutch. It's a ridiciliously big clamping clutch but it's a cush button so it feels very soft. Do I get this effect because it's meant to be an on/off clutch but I slip it out of bad habit because it feels like I can? never felt it another car before.
  12. Hahah well turned out to be old loctite in there. Took us a awhile on the hoist drove it into dad's mates shop took us a bit to figure it out he was pretty sure I had the wrong bolts. Put a tap through it to clean it up and he was like na definitely right thread then figured out the old loctite. After a tap it just went straight in hey.
  13. Wiggum: threads seem fine they're the bolts that pulled out before. I have touched nothing tailshaft side apart from dropping it so that I could swap the diff and subframe out. kroozin : I have the weights they are not through far enough to need them yet
  14. I can and will if need be just don't wanna put it off balance if possible may need to, to drive it to a shop.. I'm glad I'm not retarded I thought they might have been timed bolts. Have you bolted a tailshaft up before on these bro? Do you just piss it in like the shops say? Never had an issue with a tailshaft. I'm glad I don't have a running car as I think I'd be down the shops buying ciggies hey. Everyone keeps talking to me on the phone like I need to pry it a little with a left handed screw driver after a long wait. *Pulling hair out*
