How much difference is there from a MKII G6ET and a 50th G6ET? Was there much extra they packed in there? Isn't the G6ET already the top of the line? Personally I'd be going the MKII - in a few years it'll still be an iteration closer to the current model. Plus - I've never heard of anyone buying a second hand car really caring about it being an anniversary model. There will also be other cars on the market that have had the mods done that more than match the differences. Plus - warranty

Ebay cooler (or any other cooler for that matter) is not going to help at all until the rest of the mods need it. Intercooler is only a "support" part of the package - it will give you nothing - all it will do is allow the rest of your stuff to work at the best of their ability. Get a tune, or work out a budget and work out the best bang for dollar for that budget.

Speak to the tuner - there's 20 ways to skin a cat (pun intended) and end up with the horsepower you're after. Work with the guy doing the work and decide on the way you want to go. If he likes changing the cat as his method then you either trust the way he does it or you make your own decisions. If you get him to do the work - he'll do what you tell him to - even if he would rather go a different direction.

Did you go through F.A. customer service and get a rep looking after you or trying through the dealer? I had the guy looking after me calling at real weird stages of the warranty work - like twice in the same day or 3 days after he promised to follow up the same day.

Anyone tried the "tap king" home kegs? http://www.tapking.com/ Pour yourself a draught at home - works awesome, just wish they had better beer choices and it was a bit cheaper. That said - it's awesome (once I learnt how to pour and got more than froth)
