Yep - having a blast at the moment. Driving is so much better than GT5. Some bastard did put a traffic light in the middle of the road in London though - Don't think that was there on the old track Load times are so much better too as has been said - makes it possible to jump in for a quick blast instead of it being too much of a PITA. I got the anniversary pack with the bonus cars - saves a lot of time and frustration in the early stages where you need a specific category car to compete in events when you already have such a car in your garage Was really annoying in GT5 having to hunt down and buy a car you don't really want and will never use again just to be able to progress. Am sure I'll run into that issue later on in the game, but I should have cash by then and able to purchase "keepers" rather than duds for a single event.

Not sure if it's playing up - it's a long shot, but was just thinking of things that may cut power and be easy to test

Does it do the same if you have the traction control turned off?

Total ECU replacement? - will that be an effective way of bypassing warranty concerns (show up to ford with the car stock and an untouched ECU - by putting the old one back in)?

No small talk No questions No advice. Best way to do MSY is to print off their pricelist, highlight the components you want, pass it to the guy when you get to the front of the queue, pay, leave.

If it was me I'd probably be waiting to see if there's any special edition or souped up version come up for the final run and snap that up with no regrets

Half my mates whinge that they are forced to take holidays at that time (factory closedowns etc) - the other half that they can't (retail etc) And then there's the teachers - who try and justify the holidays they get

If the diagnostics were telling him the issue was the waste-gate, the issue does turn out to be the wast-gate and he ignored it and the engine blew up while driving it on the road and increasing revs to see if it was still there then I think you have a right to be pissed. Someone else may be able to suggest if he'd have had reason to think it was other than the waste-gate that was causing the problem. That said though - there is always 2 sides. It does sound like he's being straight forward with you though.

I doubt he actually staged wit the Gemini. Not many people were worried about RT or "racing" the other lane, just their own 60's and ET's/Speeds.

If your mate felt bad not matching your time, just remind him that the dodgy green Gemini with "P" plates was also quicker
