Set up companies/businesses/trusts etc. Can be flat out, dead quiet or (as is the case at the moment) a heap of small, fiddly, annoying crap jobs that need to be done. If it's quiet then it's ok - I can do some stuff that I've put aside. It's the small messy stuff that I keep looking at, moving around my desk then open the browser/forums instead of tackling. Sucks on the delivery ideas - can't get the package redirected to work?

WPMO - being bored sh*tless at work - to the point that you browse forums and post a hell of a lot more than you should I should set up some blocks on the router during work hours to keep me off the forums.

One of the kids who used to rent a room off me was doing the same sort of thing (but for one of the electricity doorknock companies) Was as dodgy as you can get. Often the 2 week cooling off period was used by them under the table. Not enough quota today/this week? Sign up a couple of the houses that refused (without them knowing) then call back and cancel after the tallies had been counted and before the switch actually happened. Found out one day that my house had switched suppliers (without me knowing) :S

There's some worthwhile ones (couple of websites that sort the crap out). I don't mind the one where you "lend" some money to a person in a 3rd world place who uses it to start up/help fund their own business/service. They pay it back over time and you can then lend it to the next person.

If it's a monthly thing they get you to sign up for too they don't get it until a month or 2 later - the husband usually comes home, finds out and cancels the commitment.

Got some 9-10 score porterhouse and scotch coming tomorrow and placed an order for a 5kg 9+ brisket to slow cook Heaven.

Am in the same boat. For some reason, walking down a busy street in the CBD at lunch time - it's always me the bucket holders pick out of the mob to do the hard sell on. Those and the mentally challenged when on public transport. Half full bus/train carriage - heaps of empty seats. Guaranteed they decide to sit next to me and try to strike up conversation.

"Dear supplier, As a valued client we're asking for a small donation of $150 to help our charity "Rab's Jean* Replacement Therapy". Please assist this needy cause so we can continue to call you a valued supplier" *not to be confused with other bodies doing gene research.

This is beyond a joke now - the emails I was getting from business contacts asking for donations to whatever 'thon they're taking part in. Just got a reminder today from a clients "executive assistant". From the email: Dear Supplier We recently sent you an email from ........ You are a valued supplier to .... and we would appreciate your generosity Then in hightlight: Your donation of $50 or more will go towards ..... Is it just me, or is that getting a tad ridiculous? And a little bit towards a demand?

Just sat down in my chair at the office and find I've ripped a hole in the crotch of my jeans. Must have been on the ride to work this morning. Now to work out whether to try and get through the day with it, or if it's going to expand and cause a wardrobe malfunction. Glad I didn't go commando today.

1.4km for me. A lot longer from when I worked from home

Last time I went it was after a bottle of scotch and 4 oxies or valiums. And I was still shaking like a scared schoolgirl. The time before that was for a root canal. Turned out the nerve wasn't as dead as he thought it was. Never could I have imagined such pain as when he drilled straight into it. Lets just say it left an impression :( (sorry - am sure your visit will be fine)

Just reconciled my books for the October/December BAS - have been putting it off since the xmas break. That is a huge load off my mind :D
