3 runs of 12.3 - first time out since it was tuned. Pretty happy with it - know where I need to pick up. Blown away with the consistency, just wish I had more of a chance to try and change it up off the line - went for the 2k stall, perf auto shifts rather than waste a run on a missed manual gearchange

Nah - a mate was heading down - got him to chuck one in his car for me. Meant I only got 3 runs in (he was too late to enter himself) but at least I got at least a bit of playtime

Just got back. *beep* of a night. D'head me forgot his helmet so called a mate who was headed down to throw one in the car for me. He didn't get there til almost 8:30 and they wouldn't let him race (too late) Finally got the helmet and did the scrutineering - then joined the lineup. About an hour later finally got my first run - 12.323 @ 118 and a 2.1 60' - cool, if I can get my 60' down an 11 might be possible - may need a couple more mph though. second run - 12.366 Third run - 12.326 All runs were within 0.04 seconds and 0.7 mph of each other Can say one thing for the tune and the work Mick gave me - bloody consistent - should have been racing dial-in Was using performance auto to shift - wasn't time tonight for playing around with manual. I reckon if I can get the 60' under the 2 seconds and nail the manual shifting I'll be pushing an 11

Am tipping the same. I was thinking along the lines of a 17/18yo who just got their big boy pants, bought a car they "knew" would be the fastest thing on the road/track once they had their mate do some tweaks to it and was hit with reality once the mechanic started playing with stuff that was beyond his usual text book jobs and out of his depth.

My step-daughter (25yo) is learning guitar - been a couple of months now of weekly sessions She had to write down music she liked on her application/registration form when she started "The Cult" were one of the bands she put down (fell in love with them after I "expanded" her musical tastes) The tutor tonight was flicking through her app tonight while he was trying to work out what riff's to teach her and asked her "Who are The Cult" She came home with "Fire Woman" as her homework and a story of a music teacher who was blown away with some "new" music he had just discovered. She was wrapped - felt really validated because she'd been able to show the teacher something new
